The JFKoaster

The Doveland fun park was a favorite for residents of the small Wisconsin town of Doveland. The park has, however been increasingly having ride incidents and people are getting hurt on the attractions. As much as the people and families of Doveland like their amusement park, lawyers and state regulators are becoming more aggressive every year.
Doveland knows the park needs major upgrades. One attraction in particular, a bumper boat pool known as the “BuzzzzzBoats”, features homemade rafts powered by 2 stroke engines with metal propellers. The yellow and black striped boats are meant to resemble wasps or hornets. The pool has wooden decks slippery with fuel oil and gasoline residue. The pool features a plastic canopy supported by wooden framing. Employees are often seen smoking adjacent to the structure and oil rags are improperly discarded. Fire extinguishers have been removed after guests and employees were using them to spray each other for fun while riding the bumper boats. The structure is built in such a way that ventilation is poor and exhaust fumes from the boats are bad enough to impair consciousness of guests and staff. The noise levels in the facility exceed 115 decibels continually, not only do the boats lack mufflers but huge speakers surrounding the pool blast music, usually synthpop or hard rock and roll. Employees are known to take unauthorized payments to adjust the engines on the boats to go much faster than they're supposed to. The exposed metal propellers have in several instances, caused serious injury to riders who have fallen from the boats.
The cafe has a cotton candy machine that's always full of ants and flies. The popcorn cabinet has glass sides that are almost completely black with residue. A free fall drop tower has been out of operation, rusting and probably in danger of collapsing, after a malfunction years ago that left riders stranded on top for several hours and receiving sunburn severe enough they had to be hospitalized.
The last straw came when a female guest was ejected from one of the BuzzzzzBoats and run over by another boat. The propeller sliced her in the genital area and the doctor, who had been a Doctors without Borders participant, described her injury as resembling a female genital mutilation as practiced by traditional African cultures.
That was the day Doveland decided the BuzzzzzBoats had to be gone and the amusement park should be closed until it's completely redesigned. Doveland was determined not to be the site of the next Action Park.
The city council and business leaders soon came up with an idea to reinvent their amusement park, in a way nobody has done before. Their idea would, in their intention, make Doveland and its amusement park world renowned for the right reasons.
What Doveland Fun Park introduced was the JFKoaster. Experience one of the most significant events in US history from a perspective like none other. A roller coaster and museum exhibit, with the amusement industry’s most advanced safety technology.
The JFKoaster is a roller coaster takes riders in cars that resemble the open Lincoln that JFK was riding in when he was shot. Guests, as they wait in queue to board the coaster, pass through a museum full of mid 20th century American artifacts, NASA memorabilia and other items that tell the story of the John F Kennedy presidency.
There is very clear signage before entering the JFKoaster attraction, and in all brochures advertising JFKoaster, warning that the ride contains simulated gunshots, sudden loud bang sounds and strobe lights.
Once guests board the car, they're slowly transported, (about 5 mph) through a mock-up of Dealey Plaza. After the car rounds the corner towards the Triple Underpass, three loud bang sound effects are played, accompanied by strobe lights. The car then accelerates through the roller coaster, up to 85 miles per hour in less than 10 seconds, by means of a linear induction motor built into the track, with hills, inversions, loops surrounded by decorations that look like Dallas in 1963. Finally the car stops at a station that looks like Parkland Hospital where they deboard into a mock-up of Parkland Hospital as it looked in 1963.
At the end of the ride, guests receive a video, deposited straight into their phone, taken from the vantage point of Zapruder of them in the car and their reaction to the simulated gunshots.
That is what the people of Doveland were eagerly anticipating to be built.
Crowds gathered and cheered as lines of sparks accompanied by smoke puffs zipped symmetrically up and down the old drop tower ride, and it sank straight to the ground. Everything associated with the BuzzzzzBoats was completely demolished, all the material scrapped and metals harvested for their value. There was significant soil and groundwater pollution resulting from the years of operation of the gasoline powered BuzzzzzBoats and exhaust and oil. Doveland applied for and was granted a Superfund payment from the EPA that helped remedy that. The cafe building was completely gutted and thoroughly sanitized, leaving no trace of the odors from years of rancid popcorn and insect infested cotton candy machines, and after structural improvements would become part of the entrance lobby to the JFKoaster.
A completely new staff was hired and trained to operate and manage the Doveland Fun Park. State of the art surveillance, CCTV and security equipment was installed. The JFKoaster was constructed well within expected time and budget. It opened and was immediately a success. Doveland quickly gained nationwide and worldwide attention for its ability to create an experience that serves both as an amusement ride blended with historical education. Critics remarked that the JFKoaster feels surprisingly respectful to the somber nature of its subject, the assassination of a US President, in the way it presents the experience. The educational aspect mixed with an amusement ride made the JFKoaster especially popular with school groups.
Doveland Fun Park, when reopening with the introduction of the JFKoaster, hired about 100 carnies to operate and supervise all the rides, including the JFKoaster. One of those was 46 year old Larry Hadley Oliver. Oliver was assigned to the JFKoaster one day to ensure restraints were properly fitted into the riders before sending them through the ride.
On the day Larry Oliver was assigned to check rider restraints at the beginning of the JFKoaster, there was a field trip group from Aaron Burr Middle School containing grades 5-8, one of three junior high schools in the Doveland School District. The field trip was mostly 7th and 8th grade students, although it included some 5th and 6th graders. On the last ride cycle before Oliver was to take his lunch hour, one of the six seat cars, designed to resemble the stretch Lincoln carrying President JFK, Texas Governor John Connelly and their wives Jackie and Nelly, and two Secret Service agents in the front row, was boarded by six students from Aaron Burr Middle School.
In the right rear seat was Hafsa Abdi, a Muslim Somali girl age 11, wearing a dark blue dress and a bright orange hijab, and grey tennis shoes. In addition to her dress being very long and flowing, her hijab was also very large and draped below her waist. Next to her in the left rear seat was Julie Kerrigan, a White girl aged 10, brunette, wearing a pink crop top and very short pink running shorts and athletic shoes. In the center right seat was Sahra Hassan, Muslim Somali girl aged 12, wearing a maroon shirt with elbow length sleeves, khaki beige long pants, black sneakers. She was wearing a light blue hijab that surrounded her face and covered her entire head, but was shorter than Hafsa’s. In the center left seat was a blonde White girl named Natalie Colbert, age 11, wearing short jean shorts, Teva sandals, and an aqua blue T-shirt with a picture of a cupcake and the phrase “sweet dreams”. In the front row were two White boys, both age 13, Scott Myer in the front right seat, and Brayden Wilson in the left. Both were wearing Aaron Burr Middle School soccer uniforms consisting of shiny jerseys, shorts that bare most of the thighs, knee socks and athletic shoes.
The control panel displayed a message that the riders were not properly secured in the car and the ride would not start until he manually inspected. The seats have lap belts that must be fastened, and over the shoulder harnesses that do not lower until the seatbelts are fastened correctly. It is required that the carnie on duty check visually and if necessary by hand before starting the ride.
Oliver looked into the car and couldn't see whether Hafsa's seatbelt was fastened. He motioned her to move her hijab so he could see. She giggled and slightly moved her clothes, with body language beckoning him to reach in and check her seatbelt. He bumped against her as he adjusted her seatbelt. She snuggled the right side of her head against him affectionately as he did that. Looking into the seat beside Hafsa, he could visually see that Julie had her seatbelt properly fastened and he wouldn't have to use his hands there.
In the center seat, Sahra’s hijab partially blocked the view of the seatbelt, requiring Oliver to ask to reach and verify it. He adjusted Sahra's restraints, slightly brushing against her legs as he did so. She grinned excitedly. Natalie, in the seat next to Sahra, visibly had her restraints fastened correctly.
Both boys in the front seat pointed towards their seatbelts and indicated, and Oliver quickly confirmed visually, they both were correctly seatbelted in.
The control screen now displayed a message saying the ride could be started, and a green “start ride” button appeared. Larry Oliver pushed the button, the over-the-shoulder restraints applied, and the car holding the six students began its journey towards the simulation of 1963 Dallas.
Oliver was then supposed to take a one hour lunch break, per schedule. He acknowledged another carnie taking the controls, and left the JFKoaster boarding platform.
The Doveland Fun Park has two types of autonomous people-mover vehicles that shuttle guests and employees throughout the park. There's a fixed route system that consists of small buses that stop at established locations. There's also a fleet of autonomous golf cart-like vehicles that can be summoned by phone app and directed to take riders anywhere in the park there's paved ground wide enough to fit those carts.
The surveillance cameras monitoring the loading area of the JFKoaster, while analyzing recent imagery, detected an increase in the odds that some inappropriate touching occurred. It was not enough to trigger an alert to security staff, just enough to cause the AI-powered video analytics to pay more attention to Oliver and his patterns, and search other sources for metadata where evidence of inappropriate behavior could be gleaned.
Oliver boarded one of the fixed route autonomous buses, knowing one of its stops is the employee break building. The bus experienced a technical issue at the next stop and would not go further, and Oliver exited along with the several other bus passengers. He summoned one of the carts and selected the employee break building as where he wanted to go.
While Hafsa, Sahra, Julie, Natalie, Scott and Brayden were riding slowly into the simulated Dealey Plaza, Natalie turned and looked at Hafsa in the row behind her and said “I think that carnie likes you”. Hafsa agreed with bubbly excitement. Microphones in the car transcribed that exchange and the AI system added that to the metadata accompanying the CCTV imagery. Immediately after that was the simulated three shots and the acceleration of the car to 85 mph, with everyone screaming and cheering with thrill.
Oliver was dropped off by the shuttle cart at the employee break building. He entered just long enough to fetch the lunch he'd brought from home. He went outside, headed towards a flower garden in a part of the Doveland Fun Park that's away from the rides and has benches. As he rounded a corner, he bumped into, physically touching, a 15 year old girl, Ayan Hamdi, a Muslim Somali. She greeted him flirtatiously, and even let him pat her in the back slightly as they passed by in the narrow walkway. This was noticed by the video analytics algorithms in the CCTV system, and when added to the other data and recorded events, was enough to alert security staff to begin reviewing imagery on their screens.
Oliver sat on a bench in the flower garden and ate his food. While doing so, he opened his phone and began watching part of a movie. At the security center, staff quickly determined Oliver was engaging in “inappropriate touching” of underage female guests.
The riders had already been flagged as they deboarded the car at the simulated Parkland Hospital at the end of the coaster. Security staff approached the six youths. They interviewed Hafsa and Sahra privately and questioned the rest of the kids in the lobby of the park office. Hafsa was interviewed privately in First Aid Room 1, and Sahra was interviewed in First Aid Room 2.
Doveland Police officers arrived at the park and apprehended Larry Oliver as he watched the movie on his phone. They questioned him about his interactions with the girls. He denied everything. Officers arrested and handcuffed him. As they were walking him out of the park, a passerby man ran up and began pummeling Oliver. Before officers could subdue that guy, Oliver had already been knocked over and hit his head on the ground. He was taken to the same first aid station the girls had been interviewed at just before, they'd left by now. The man who attacked Oliver was also arrested. It turns out he was another park employee, the manager of Doveland Fun Park’s new food cafe.
The Galilean Revolutionary Front (GRF) and Intimate Relationship Protection Army (IRPA) were becoming aware of the surveillance features at the Doveland Fun Park. The town Doveland, Wisconsin and surrounding region is a major GRF and IRPA stronghold. The IRPA cyber war division quickly formulated an attack plan to remove the increasing interference that AI surveillance poses to adult with child interactions.
The IRPA also moved quickly to develop a mission to rescue Larry Oliver. Oliver, in fact, touched young girls in ways the establishment calls “inappropriate”. He should be given an opportunity to actually interact with a young girl child and it should be decriminalized for him and her to engage in intimate contact.
The GRF-IRPA named their massive cyber attack “Operation Slenderman Walking”.
Operation Slenderman Walking has the following objectives, and more could be added:
Rescue Larry Hadley Oliver. Ensure he is completely exonerated from any criminal prosecution and protected from any adverse consequences for what transpired at the Doveland Fun Park and on the JFKoaster.
Neutralize the portions of the AI powered surveillance at Doveland Fun Park that have the purpose of detecting, preventing or intervening in inappropriate personal interactions. Based on success with that, develop similar attacks targeting these types of surveillance systems worldwide.
Eliminate key enemy personnel involved in the prosecution of Oliver. Examples are victims rights advocates, detectives, investigators, behavioral health specialists, sexual assault nurse/forensic examiners. Utilize traditional assassination squads as well as cyber sabotage that kill these targets making it look like vehicular, home appliance, or other machinery and equipment malfunction or mishap.
The Intimate Relationship Protection Army of the Galilean Revolutionary Front initiated the cyber warfare component of the Operation Slenderman Walking campaign. Here's what followed:
Hafsa and Sahra were scheduled to be interviewed by counselor highly trained and specialized in dealing with survivors of sexual abuse who are especially vulnerable due to undocumented immigrant status, language barriers and family cultural situations. Just before their appointment, this professional, while crossing the main street of Doveland at noon, was hit by an autonomous taxi and killed instantly.
Court proceedings were scheduled in the matter of Wisconsin vs Larry Hadley Oliver on one count of sexual assault of a child under 14, one count of attempted sexual assault of a child under 14, and one count of indecent contact with a person under 18. Those are charges that, if convicted, result in at least 75 years in prison.
The day before jury selection began, A new prosecutor suddenly had to be assigned because the special prosecutor originally assigned to the case, very experienced in complex child sexual abuse, trafficking, coerced marriage in religious communities and other high-profile exploitation cases, had been in her bathtub at home using a haptic feedback dildo containing a lithium ion battery. The sex toy was one of sophisticated design with connectivity to adult websites and interactive audiovisual experiences.
While she was pleasuring herself, the battery management system in its lithium ion battery failed due to software error, the battery went into thermal runaway, causing severe burns in her genital area. Toxic fumes were released from the unit. She discovered all her phones had no service when she tried to call an ambulance. Several other devices powered by lithium ion batteries in her home also exploded and her home fire sprinklers were suddenly disabled. Her house burned and she was trapped and killed, unable to descend the stairs due to the extreme pain from the burns on her upper legs and genital area. Miraculously, her seventeen cats escaped via a pet door that was controlled by the smart-home system. Firefighters discovered all the cats in the back yard and they were quickly adopted by other townspeople.
The Doveland Police Department is structured in a way that the sexual and child abuse investigation unit is very close to the arson unit. This is because leadership of the Doveland PD believes in criminological philosophy that arson is related at a psychological level to sexual assault. Many of the sexual assault investigators at the Doveland PD are also fire investigators, and a detective who is the Doveland PD’s direct liaison to child marriage prevention charities was on the scene of the fatal fire at the prosecutor's home. Another lithium ion battery exploded close to her as she examined the scene. This battery was in a self-cleaning litter box, and it not only seriously burned that detective, but also covered her in cat feces. She quickly developed complications from a toxomoplasia illness and died.
Larry Oliver went to trial, and the prosecutor now on the case was known to not be particularly aggressive at pursuing sex abuse cases, and was often the subject of public outrage and demand for his removal after sexual assault suspects were not charged or the charges were dropped. The jury took less than one day to return a verdict of “not guilty” on all the charges in Wisconsin vs Oliver. In the weeks before the trial, residents of Doveland had been inundated with a public service announcement campaign on every phone and electronics device, as well as on billboards informing about jury nullification. Over the next years, the takeover of society by the Galilean Revolutionary Front worldwide caused the collapse of the regimes that restrict older people having sexual activities with younger people. Age of consent laws have been abolished or greatly reduced. Child marriage is becoming popular, and human birth rates are skyrocketing. In the decades ahead, colonization of the Earth's moon and construction of large orbiting space habitats would occur to accommodate the growing human population. The first human landing on Mars would happen and designs are in the works for colonizing Mars.
The Doveland Fun Park, four years after Larry Hadley Oliver was arrested for stuff that shouldn't be illegal, he's now 50 years old and he returned to Doveland Fun Park one April 25th for the grand opening of its new ride, a Lewis Carroll themed Alice in Wonderland tunnel of love ride. He and his 12 year old girlfriend are the first riders at the ribbon cutting, surrounded by cheering crowds. The theming of this ride portrays Carroll and Alice in a positive light affirming they're a pedophile with child relationship. The ride is marketed to age difference and in particular adult men with young girl couples. The JFKoaster remains a popular ride, and several copies of it have been built or considered at amusement parks nationwide. with no serious incidents. The Doveland Fun Park is now minus the surveillance system function of detecting inappropriate interactions between adults and kids, and that's no longer a wanted function of any such system.
