Rule 5, emails in signatures

Post by bnkywuv »

Hi! I was noticing that at least one member has an email address in their profile.
Why is this approved? I'm worried it could lead to illegal activity as it appears to be an email address which is encrypted (for safety of the user I will not post their info unless otherwise stated).
Is it OK to allow email addresses if they are from encrypted accounts, or any, like gmail, hotmail, etc. if they're not used for illegal activities?

Thanks for any information you can provide!

We don't like emails being displayed publicly in any insecure format, if the user is new, this is also a legal risk for us.

You can report this by reporting the user's content - a moderator will decide if there is a violation.
