When did you first know you were a map? Or is it more that you can see the clues looking back, even into childhood? For me I was right around puberty and getting more intense feelings of happiness and love with younger kids - of course ...

I wouldn’t assume you have no effect, you don’t know if one person who needed to see that - did. And you may never know, but it could have a big impact.

This is so interesting, I love to see the diversity in folks. There is no one size fits all “box.” Welcome!

I’ve probably said similar things on here before, but I’m just curious. I actually have even gone back and forth at times saying “am I even really a MAP?” Because of it. (And I think that’s also in part internalized phobia and hatred / anti sexuality of society).

Anyway, the issue for me ...

I am so happy for you, and I think this kind of bravery is relatively rare, as is this kind of acceptance. Having support makes all the difference. Having a good therapist can work wonders as well. B4U act can refer to a safe one.
