Today is a sad day. The person (Anton Dautzenberg) who has been covering the story of Marthijn and Lesley posted today that their appeal to the Supreme Court has been rejected. As far as I know, that was their last legal remedy in Ecuador.

Interesting question there..... Personally, I’d be careful trying to define a “culture” too quickly.... especially in ways that might draw public attention for the wrong reasons.

Every group you mentioned (LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, etceteraa) built their identities over decades, out of SHARED struggles ...

Places like this are so important. Moral panic really has created some insane extremes. Just like this:


People are actually being prosecuted for just being a MAP.


Can you elaborate more on a recent example you've seen of this happening? I like to stay on top of this news.
