Today is a sad day. The person (Anton Dautzenberg) who has been covering the story of Marthijn and Lesley posted today that their appeal to the Supreme Court has been rejected. As far as I know, that was their last legal remedy in Ecuador.

Interesting question there..... Personally, I’d be careful trying to define a “culture” too quickly.... especially in ways that might draw public attention for the wrong reasons.
