Re: Banned from 4chan for being a pedo
We're not in danger of going to gas chambers We very much are, unless we fight back. Who would stop the authorities if they tried? We need aggressive activism to stop it happening. I used to believe that activism worked; I'm not so sure now. Consider those jailed in the UK for attempting to organis...

Re: Artificial intelligence will increase images of child pornography
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) to create child pornography online will grow exponentially and fake images will make it increasingly difficult to identify real victims, the European police agency warned on Monday (22). Criminals are already using AI tools to commit crimes ranging from onlin...

Re: The First Amendment and Free Speech.
Forgive the length of the above extract, but having read it, I could well imagine the current UK government categorising pro-pedophilia discussion as misinformation, harmful to society, and thus subject to arrest warrants. Is anyone else here concerned about Rowley's warning in relation to the deba...

Re: Mu will vote on "The Simple List" in 2025
Can we live fulfilling lives if everyone, include the courts, hates us and hopes that we rot in prison, or worse? Clearly, we can't. I disagree. Social attitudes and laws both need to improve for our lives to get better. While the status quo continues we'll continue facing the same problems we face...

Sure. I've only given the briefest outline in my posts above -- there is lots of detail that I left out.BLueRibbon wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2024 5:27 am Argosy, would you be willing to write a guest blog about US obscenity laws/prosecutions related to CP?

Re: Mu Analysis: The Lynching of Huw Edwards and the British War on PIM
I agree that Huw Edwards was lynched, but he's far from the worst example. Does anyone here remember Operation Ore? There was a clusterfuck and a half. In a nutshell, what happened with Operation Ore is that UK police went after people whose credit-card numbers were found in an American porn portal ...

Re: The First Amendment and Free Speech.
[...] The main point here is that this case highlights the rapidly increasing erosion of free speech within the collective West. The Breton letter is a prime example of how unaccountable globalist structures such as the EU are clamping down on communications between citizens, by creating new laws t...

Re: Artificial intelligence will increase images of child pornography
Which if they are not real fucking children should not be a fucking crime. Good luck trying to sell that idea. That particular ship sailed decades ago. Next-up, I suppose, will be the criminialisation of AI-generated text despite the fact these text stories are generated by a computer (AI), as oppo...

Re: Disputing the claim that "child pornography" is a multibillion dollar industry
Carl Bialik is no longer at the Wall Street Journal -- for decades, he wrote a column as the WSJ's "numbers guy". Here he tries to get to the bottom of the $20 billion dollar figure often-quoted as a child porn market size. Measuring the Child-Porn Trade By Carl Bialik The Wall Street Jour...

Re: The First Amendment and Free Speech.
I was naively optimistic when Elon Musk bought Twitter with a goal of bringing back free speech. I didn't realize that while saying "free speech" from one side of his mouth he'd be censoring MAP content with the other. Free speech more and more simply means "speech that I like"....
