The Movie 'Little Darlings'
The Movie 'Little Darlings'
I was researching how pedophilia was more acceptable in the media before the 2000s and I came across a movie from 1980 called 'Little Darlings.' The plot is about two fifteen-year-old girls from different economic backgrounds going to the same camp. When they get there they get into a fist fight which causes tension between the two. Once the other girls learn that both girls are virgins a competition commences to see which girl pops their cherries first. The girls at the camp all place their bets to see who wins and so the race sets off as the girls help the opponents lose their V-Cards. Not gonna lie, some of the scenes were hot as fuck. It had scenes like the girls breaking into a bathroom to steal a condom dispenser, one of the girls trying to seduce her camp instructor who looked thirty, and the other smoking a cigarette in every scene. The entire film had me on the edge of my seat to see who would win. It's crazy to think that films like this were acceptable back when Cuties had the entire internet in hellfire! What was even crazier is that I found the film for free on YouTube, lol. I'm about to watch a movie from the 90's called Kids. I'm pretty excited.

Well, that sounds like an interesting movie. The thing is, I'm writing a unique kind of erotica that starts off as slow. The story involves a man in his twenties and a girl in her single digits that ends up having a crush on the man, and the feelings and what those feelings lead to just progresses throughout the story. The story goes through two perspectives: the one about the man and how he not only met the girl, but the feelings he's having that he looks at as strange and buries, the perspective of the girl and how she not only met the man, but the feelings she has for him, and finally, where the things start to progress and really beganBatmanthecute wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 9:14 pm I was researching how pedophilia was more acceptable in the media before the 2000s and I came across a movie from 1980 called 'Little Darlings.' Hey man. I'd love to read your story. Is there any way that we can talk privately? Preferably email.

Yeah man. I just have to find my notebook where I keep all of my passwords and usernames and stuff since I deleted my old account and made a new one. Once I find that, I'll hit you up. But in the meantime, I'm getting ready for bed. Been a very busy person.

You say that in a way that makes me wonder if most people, or most people your age, haven't heard of/seen Kids. It could be a coincidence (you being, I assume from memory, one of the younger Gen Z-ers), but I remember it being pretty popular (not that I immediately remember people my own age talking about it much when I was a teen but I know, as an 'adult,' that it's considered a classic). It came out when I was 9 but I didn't see it until I was 13. I prefer Bully, which I've only seen once and saw for the first time I think a couple of years ago.Batmanthecute wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 9:14 pm I was researching how pedophilia was more acceptable in the media before the 2000s and I came across a movie from 1980 called 'Little Darlings.' I've also had the impression, from watching certain movies and tv shows, that the age-gap stigma wasn't as strong as it is today. This might tie in to a thread I might start. Apparently, Gen Z tends to be especially hostile to age-gap relationships compared to previous generations (not that I normally take the differences between generations or the idea of drawing a neat line between them really seriously but I'm sure there are statistical differences if we choose to group people in a certain way).

Re: The Movie 'Little Darlings'
'Little Darlings' was released in 1980 on the tailwinds of a film era that was exploring 'edgier' conceptions of young sexuality. It was also released right in the middle of a wave of 'teensploitation' sex comedies marketed towards teens. Whilst much of 'Little Darlings' is produced with artistic taste and class, there are plenty of moments that feel a bit more 'edgy' and 'exploitational,' and remind you of the context of the bygone era in which it was produced.
So I'd put it somewhere between tender 'coming-of-age' film, and low budget teensploitation. When I first saw it on TV as a kid, I was a bit shocked by some of the scenes - these girls sure got into a lot of mischief at camp
A must see if you like 'summer camp' films (along with their depictions of the freedoms afforded to young people away from their parents during the hot summer). It also has one of the greatest all-girl food fights in cinema that I can think of.

In the absence of a clear blueprint, a good imagination is essential.
