People who don't want to spend their whole life hiding and running. People who have had to deal with violence or threats of violence. People who have had to deal with blackmail, with ostracization, with the court system, with prison, with the sex offender registry.Judgey wrote: Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:15 pm![]()

Basically any MAP that isn't myopic. If you can't afford the risk or think it's beyond your capabilities, that's fine, but every MAP that can take the risk and does have the capabilities should be encouraged to try. Running away forever isn't a viable strategy.

Produce merchandise? It may seem like a stupid idea, but I believe that living in a more or less capitalist society, the best way to protect one's social interests is to turn them into economic interests.
If there were no shotacon/lolicon market in Japan today, in my opinion, producing certain stuff in Japan would already be illegal. In the same way, if there were no pornography market, today porn would probably be illegal in most states.
So perhaps one should "simply" do business.
Or even just buy the merchandise.
Alright, maybe I'm just exposing my desire to buy shotacon doujinshi while pretending they could be useful for some kind of cause.

I agree. I get to hear such things often even on some proC support forums. I'm glad that a forum like Mu exists. Regardless of how futile some MAPs think it is.PorcelainLark wrote: Thu Jun 26, 2025 12:40 amBasically any MAP that isn't myopic. We need to start somewhere. Maybe we won't live to see the change in our lifetime. But when it does happen some MAPs in future when they learn about the history of it would feel thankful that we started. That we persisted. And it's not just about MAPs it's about Child Rights too.

Trying is no guarantee things will change, but not trying is a guarantee things will stay the same.girllover wrote: Tue Jul 15, 2025 6:14 pm I agree.
