Casper man who claimed CSAM was planted gets 12–15 years in prison

Mark Anthony Chanez spoke the name of the man he accused of planting the materials on his devices. He said he’d been giving the man shelter, and that while he was sleeping, the man planted the files by “piggybacking my IP number.”

“Yes, it’s bad, but I didn’t put it there. That guy did,” Chanez said. “I have no interest in it. Never have.”

Chanez kept insisting he was innocent as the bailiffs led him away. “This is a severe injustice, your honor,” he said.

Chanez will get credit for four days served.
