Woman reported gun concerns, what got reported was a lot worse

The woman explained that she went through his phone, suspecting he was cheating on her. She said she found a secure app, Keepsafe Private Photo Vault, that features a photo vault, VPN, and private browsing secured by an email login with a password.

Court documents state that she logged into Morales’ email on her personal laptop and used the “forgot my password” tool to reset the password. She then changed the PIN so she could access the app.

After she accessed the app, she observed around 10 video files of at least two young girls, appearing to be between 6 and 8 years old, performing “sexual acts with adult men.” In all the videos, the men’s faces could not be seen, according to court documents.

The woman confronted Morales about the videos, which led to an argument and Morales leaving the house with his cellphone and a “Hatfield 12-gauge shotgun.” Concerned about his well-being, that’s when the woman went to the police to report the incident.

Later, officers located Morales at a park in Horizon with his cellphone and the shotgun. He was detained and told of the allegation against him, but he made no admission of possessing child pornography, according to court documents.
