A former ACT attorney-general accused of grooming a teenage boy has successfully varied his bail conditions.

Gordon Ramsay, who was a Labor politician, faced ACT Magistrates Court on Monday for brief a pre-hearing mention.

The 61-year-old has pleaded not guilty to encouraging a boy to commit an act of a sexual nature between 2022 and 2024.

After Nicki Minaj went on a MAGA rant the other day, bizarrely dragging California governor Gavin Newsom for his support of transgender kids, actor and comedian D.L. Hughley clapped back at her and made it deeply personal.

The comedian took to Threads on December 15 with a truly savage post. “Nicki Minaj shouldnt post anything about kids cuz her husband can’t be within 1000 ft of one!” he wrote. “It ain’t Gavin [Newsom] it’s Chris [Hansen] she should be worried about.” The comedian was referring to the famous aughts-era Dateline NBC’s To Catch a Predator host.

Kim Ji-eun, a victim of sexual violence by former Chungcheongnam-do Governor Ahn Hee-jung, commented on the not-guilty verdict for actor O Yeong-su (81 years old) in a compulsory indecency case, stating, “The dreams of sexual violence victims are too easily diminished, while perpetrators, protected by their reputation and career, have much to lose.”

Kim spoke at a theater industry sexual violence case review session held on the afternoon of the 15th at the Lawyers for a Democratic Society (Minbyun) conference room in Seocho-gu, Seoul, hosted by the Korean Women’s Association United and others. This marked her first public appearance.

Kim said, “Though Korean society has changed since the Me Too movement, some judicial bodies still demand ‘victim-like’ behavior, and secondary harm in courtrooms persists. Sexual crimes are not individual deviations but structural violence created by power and silence.”

Having observed O’s trial, she added, “Trials that fail to protect victims have repeated themselves. I faced a judiciary that deeply empathized with the perpetrator over the victim’s human rights.” She continued, “No one’s human rights or dreams should be trampled. We urge you to confront the structural issues in the arts and culture sector, outdated standards of ‘victim-like’ behavior, distorted Me Too narratives, and the essence of power-based sexual violence. Do not turn away,” while choking back tears.

Joe Campbell, a Pentecostal preacher who for half a century ministered to thousands of children across four states, has been arrested on child sex abuse charges, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office said Wednesday.

Campbell was charged with one count of first-degree rape and one count of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16, according to the charging document. U.S. marshals arrested him Wednesday morning at Camp Bell, his children's camp in Elkland, Missouri, and took him to the Greene County jail in Springfield, where he was awaiting transfer to Oklahoma. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison

An incarcerated Texas man claiming to be the father of the late University of Utah football player Ty-Coreous (Ty) Jordan has been asked to provide additional documentation proving his legal right to claim Jordan’s share of back pay from the House v. NCAA settlement.

Jordan, the Pac-12 freshman offensive player of the year in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, died on Christmas Day in 2020 from what authorities determined was an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound to the abdomen. His death came just four months after the passing of his mother, Tiffany Jordan, from cancer.

Corey Feldman has alleged that his co-star Corey Haim “molested” him while they were making the 1987 vampire movie The Lost Boys.

Haim died in 2010 at the age of 38. His cause of death was officially ruled as pneumonia, and came after a number of years of well-documented issues with substance abuse.

The two actors frequently appeared together on screen, having both started their careers as child actors in the 1980s.

Feldman previously alleged in the 2020 documentary My Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys that both men had been sexually abused while still children.

Variety reports that in a new documentary, Corey Feldman vs. The World, Feldman makes a series of further allegations about Haim specifically.

In the film from director Marcie Hume, Feldman says: “When we did Lost Boys, Corey said to me, ‘Hey man, let’s mess around.’ And I said, ‘What do you mean?'”

He says Haim replied: “‘This is what, you know, what guys in the business do, right? You know, you suck each other’s d***s, or you f*** around, you do this stuff.’

“And I said, ‘What are you talking about?’ And he said, ‘Well, Charlie [Sheen] told me it was OK.'”

Sheen has consistently denied Feldman’s claims related to him in the past, saying: “These sick, twisted and outlandish allegations never occurred. Period.”

In the new documentary, Feldman continues: “I called [Haim] and said, ‘Come over.’ But you know, when you have got somebody that’s trying to come onto you sexually, and you don’t want that, and you are a kid, and you are scared, you do whatever you can to stop it from happening.

“And that’s what was happening. I was being molested by Corey Haim. Truth be told.”
