Psychologically feeling younger

Is it common among maps to feel psychologically younger?

Like maybe being developmentally delayed and although being an adult they may have the mentality of a child or teenager?

What about feeling childlike and even feeling like a kid at heart too?

Do you think a lot of maps are like this and do you think it may be one of the reasons we just connect better with children?

I don't know how common it is, but I identify myself as 15 years old boy. There is such a term as "Kidult". On one old forum someone said that MAP are teen in adult body.

Peter Pan syndrome became a fake pshrynk thing when a book about it came out in 1983 (just when, no coincidence, the pedo panic was spreading). But the 1954 musical popularized the song "I Won't Grow Up," and resistance to adulthood and its many associated evils is a theme in many if not most cultures. It's probably a theme that has been perpetuated in part through the efforts of MAPs (like Barrie himself). I am not sure how many MAPs are puberty resisters, but I certainly was.

I used to feel young for my age, but I started to catch up rapidly with my real age in my late 20s. Now in my 30s, I very much feel my age and do not relate so well to young children.

Mixed bag, I feel younger yes, my body says otherwise, but interestingly (perhaps) I am ABDL and enjoy wearing diapers/nappies. A link, who knows.

It is an identity for some MAPs, but not all of those with the identity are MAP-friendly.

I have always felt like a teenager, but as I get older my ages of attraction shift towards younger little girls!

I really don't know.I guess I am to a point. But that really did not start for me until fairly recently.

I don't know about this one either. I have cerebral palsy and am was a slow grower during most of my life. Perhaps the cobination of that and being a MAP is why I have had so many younger friends growing up.

I do sometimes fee l that way. There is just that small boy in me that wants to tear down the shackles of adulthood and just be a boy.

I think that a lot of MAPS are like this and, yes, that could be why so many of us do well with kids. I even think that some of them pick that up about us and so, naturally, they will sometimes gravitate towards us. It used to happen with me. One or two young boys would just decide to hang with me.
