We know a LOT more people are maps than let's on so what you theories for why this site hasn't blew up?
I just think a lot of child lovers are overall very paranoid people about certain things and think this place might be a Honeypot somehow or something....(Even though we don't allow ANY porn etc much less anything loli or worse)
What's the primary reason this site isn't more popular?

Re: What's the primary reason this site isn't more popular?
There's no collective MAP consciousness. Individual MAPs are either in denial, accept the stigmatized position they are given as inevitable (or a valid ethical compromise, or they are too afraid to challenge it), or are just more focused on their own lives (whether they seek YFs or not) than on activism.
I'd guess there are sites with more traffic that are more risky to visit and harder to find than this one... So I don't really buy your theory.Theendoftheline wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 5:40 pm We know a LOT more people are maps than let's on so what you theories for why this site hasn't blew up?

Well, talking clear net sites....on the clear net their are hardly any map related discussion sites I've noticedLearning to undeny wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 6:16 pm There's no collective MAP consciousness. I'd add it's a fairly recent site compared to one like VoA.

Feel free to promote this site wherever else you interact with other MAPs...

Re: What's the primary reason this site isn't more popular?
I think the rate of growth and activity here is quite impressive for a site that only launched a couple years ago. Do you know any bigger MAP activism forums on the clear web?
Part of the issue is, this is an activism site. For whatever reason(s), a substantial proportion of MAP communities seem to hate activism. Many people come to MAP communities because it feels nice to bond with like-minded people, get emotional support, and to have an outlet for private passions. But most people don't like to be 'brought down' by the politics of activism. Some of these people are demoralised, they have no hope for a brighter future, or they just prefer others to do all the work for them. It seems, bafflingly, that activism is not 'fun' for most MAPs.
It takes a certain type of personality that can get along with others well enough to be productive and find common goals amidst all the political disagreements and personality differences. The activist-centric sites will probably never be as big as the generic BL/GL sites, but hopefully we'll see continued momentum. Kind of makes us a bit elite, eh? Use your activist powers wisely

In the absence of a clear blueprint, a good imagination is essential.

It could be US and UK ISP's mass banning this site. Remember The first time I accessed this site in mid-late 2025 it wouldn't load

Well, UK is blocked by this site due to a law passed in 2023zarkle wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2026 8:10 am It could be US and UK ISP's mass banning this site. Remember The first time I accessed this site in mid-late 2025 it wouldn't load
Due to the Online Safety Act 2023, with which MAP Forum cannot comply unless it jeopardizes user and operator anonymity, we do not permit members based in the UK. We use geoblocking to prevent access from the UK, and those stating they are based in the UK will have their account suspended. #
