The last bit you wrote is exactly why I want the right, or at least one of the bigger reasons. I simply do not want jack boot thugs to come in my residence with the threat of violence and to then disarm me telling me what i can and cannot own.RoosterDance wrote: Wed May 20, 2026 12:21 pmThis is indeed my greatest point of contention. What benefit do gun rights bring? And I ask this seriously. And just like Human, did we can make direct comparisons to places with readily-available guns (pretty much just america) and places without.HumanBeing wrote: Mon May 18, 2026 6:52 pm Personally I haven't seen countries or people benefit from gun rights
The cons as I see it are thus: violent conflict is inevitable. With guns involved, it just makes people less likely to survive it. Also allowing guns means allowing gun-related accidents.
The pros are.... Well it can make certain people feel safer, even when in reality it doesn't make them many safer. I suppose one can argue there's a sort of artistic value in it too.
Well personally, I am all for minimizing government regulation on the whole, but one area in where it has been beneficial is with guns. To what degree is debatable.
How does the place feel about gun rights?

I’m an instrumentalist, so I think whatever allows to have self-defence should be supported by MAPs, hence why I think MAPs should support the 2A for as long as it exists.

My opinion is pretty radical but straight forward: No worker without a rifle!
We should follow hoxha's steps in this issue.
(Although must say I think it'd be better to have them in stockpiles for every syndicate, company, municipality, etc. rather than personal use, but I think the latter is better than the prohibition we have now in our country anyways)
