My thought about legalization of certain cp

TLDR: legalize cp that donated from donors and it will reduce real harm.

There are different types of cp: self-produce, NN photo or video like modeling, adult partners uploaded (I don't really think minors consented to this one), produced for making money, fictional art including AI and 3DCG.
I will talk about real cp like self-produce, adult partners uploaded and produced for making money here. Fake cp is obviously 100% ok to exist.

When people talk about legalization of cp, they often talk about having actors/actresses. but this need a premise: legalization of AMSR. Let's talk about something more pratical instead, that even if AMSR is forbidden can still work.

My thought is allowing people to own and donate cp of themselves. maybe from a random people, a MAP, or even a victim from an already existing cp. and these material will be legal to own by everyone.
And this is not just to pleasure pedophiles, it's for reduce child molestation. I know most child molestation is from non-pedophiles who want dominance, but atleast for the pedophile part, I think it can significantly reduce molestation. There is an inverse relationship between the availability of pornography and sex crime rates. (And there's some biased research saying cp cause child molestation because most convicted child molestors did watched cp, it's dumb as fuck. If you asked the convicted perpetrators of school shootings whether they had ever played first-person shooter video games, you can't get the conclusion of video games cause school shootings, because it's confirmation bias, sample bias, survivorship bias etc, and correlation does not imply causation.)

cp is not a very harmful thing if you don't paying money to producers or keep telling victims someone watched their porn (this one is done by governments). I think it's actually reduce something more harmful, it's still wrong. BUT possession without paying or harassing shouldn't be a big crime that put people into prison. it's just too much.
And making pedophiles never watch cp even once is too unrealistic. we couldn't have sex, couldn't watch porn, couldn't date, couldn't easily seek help, some even couldn't watch fictional art. but after we accept all these bullshits, we still get stigmatized, lose friends, lose family, lose job and even lose life (suicide and murder). feeling isolated and like you have nothing to lose is a precarious place to be when straining to resist temptation.

I think the legal cp I suggested above will have no harm and still reduce child molestation, and maybe heavily reduce crimes that cp producers rape kids for money. it's the real effective thing to do for protecting children.

I agree to the max! Even with drugs, when they're illegal, people go to great lengths to get them, and for some they even save their lives (like cannabis). Restricting and putting up more violent laws such as the death penalty as if it's GOING OT STOP it...well...doesn't work. There's plenty, more than enough evidence to suggest the contrary, and I think if we expose these toxic child hating liars we'll have a better future.

Videos and images depicting rape, or anything clearly nonconsensual, should remain illegal. Just as such depictions of adults are illegal. That is unless it's made clear somehow in the video, that they are consenting participants, who are just playing a role of being raped, or raping, as in some legal porn videos.
