Hello, a user suggested we move to the countryside to survive and evade the hate we were receiving for advocating on behalf of youth liberation and so we did! My partner and I have been working on creating a sustainable, Earthship-inspired village to address the issue of homelessness for our people. Here’s our progress: Land was donated to us in a rural area, a sponsor offered their vacation home to us while we build this village, we completed the Earthship Biotecture online course, we are collecting tires and other trash to recycle into our construction, and we are vetting volunteers for the construction labor.

But we still need A LOT of financial help to build the infrastructure: water, electricity, roads, housing, and a food system.To donate, visit [sorry - not able to approve this for now]

That's honestly awesome and the most ambitious project I've seen so far. Building a community is the most important thing. And our own place to live sounds awesome (although I must say I don't like the countryside lol).

I had thought about something like this but more on an economic perspective, like a MAP cooperative of some sort. Mabe it'd be easier to start and honestly what we would most need if we wanna build a community is somewhere to get money from in order to sustain ourselves (and not having the fear of getting outed and fired in a regular job).

Anyways I love the idea, even if a bit unrealistic. It is certainly the path we must follow. Unfortunately I couldn't help you since I don't even have a credit card and not nearly enough money to be of any help lol.
