We must respond aggressively to the backward narrative of 'victims'

When discussing any MAP-related issue, it surely won’t be long before a 'victim of abuse' steps in to ‘set the record straight’. They will inevitably use their experience to condemn a very broad range of feelings and actions, whether or not that experience is in any way applicable. In this article, I’ll be doing a massive no-no by arguing that they are way out of line, and that rather than them being silenced as they might claim, their voices are in fact too loud and distorted.

When discussing any MAP-related issue, it surely won’t be long before a 'victim of abuse' steps in to ‘set the record straight’.

And their main strategy usually hinges on the kind of stereotyping that would never be tolerated for other demographics.

'We need to set the record straight on car-jackings by a GAY MEN, and the trauma that GAY MEN cause when they car-jack.' (Or substitute in any other demographic for 'gay men' to see how offensive it would be).

But of course they have no problem blaming all MAPs for their 'trauma.'

My claim that “minors can consent” is not a case of me "refusing to educate" myself.

This one is kind of a 'gotcha.' Legally, minors can't consent. So when you argue that they can, the half-wits think they've 'totally owned' you on a legal technicality, without ever considering the mental capacity of a minor in a hypothetical situation where they legally could make their own choices. (Engaging with hypotheticals is something of a challenge to the average mid-wit).

Victims are silenced and ignored, while pedophiles and child sexual abuse are celebrated

Sex-related crimes against minors are consistently among the longest prison sentences ever on record in the west. Clearly child sex abuse is not 'celebrated,' and the person making such claim should be discredited as either a liar or an idiot.

I ultimately ask the question nobody else dares.

I won't spoil it here, because I want people to read the article, but it's a very strong argument.
