For me, the issue of privacy falls within the broader discussion of prevention (and here too, I believe people have every right to refuse this kind of prevention), insofar as there is a society and a state that can make a person’s life unlivable if their information is disclosed. From this perspective, privacy is essential to preserving individual freedom. At any given moment, anything can become a problem for the state or for society.

I don’t frame it in terms of modesty or anything like that. It’s not important to me that there aren’t nude photos of me online; what matters is that there is no connection between me and those nude images. But since my face is something that inevitably leads to a correlation with my identity, then that’s where there is potentially a problem.

I have no preference. They are teenagers in my eyes so they "legally" could consent if the AOC was 13 in the US.

Considering billions of animals are killed per day, I would say it’s not as bad as people claim. People cry about the animals consent but then eat a burger right after saying that.

I support them but I feel indifferent about the topic besides supporting their rights.

I honestly think people's aversion towards zoophilia makes even less sense than any aversion towards AMSC. You're telling me we lock cows up in pens, fist them as part of a process to impregnate them, steal and often butcher their offspring, just so we can get milk then kill them when they can't produce any more... but you're not allowed to fuck it? That's the line?

You can turn it into a piece of furniture, or wear it as clothing, like we're the Ed Gein for cows, but if you got one to lick your genitals, that's too far.

Oh, and we have legalized animal abuse in the form experimentation something that would be illegal to do to another human. Oh but a rat that has roughly a primate brain, are social, empathetic and clearly capable of suffering? Eh sure why not? They're vermin!

Oh yeah! And pedophiles. Experiment on the too as they're the scum of the planet. I've literally heard of people advocating for this kind of shit. Even though we're humans...we're not worthy of being treated like humans...

Yet giving an animal pleasure, especially sexual pleasure, something we know is one of, if not the THE MOST pleasurable thing a creature could experience? Nope! let's just drug them, vivisect them, put them through stress tests and let them drown instead of saving them and giving them better lives. Yep! SOOOOOOO much more humane than giving them an orgasm or two...

There's quite a bit for me to unpack here!

Damn. I really wish I could become vegan, but then again animals are still killed in the processes of making food, even housing. How many insects are demolished in the processing of the house I live in? How about the fact that even in the making of vegan foods dozens of small animals are killed?

However I went on a vegan diet and it made me horribly sick. I was hallucinating, couldn't sleep at all, had chest pains that kept me up at night and drove me to attempting suicide. I had no energy despite eating what the doctors and dietitian recommend and all I wanted to do was sleep, but I had horrible nightmares about becoming a murderer and cannibal! Oh...and I had rage that I didn't think was possible for me. That was the worst part. Punching walls, slamming doors, biting myself so hard I'd bleed. I had no idea I could ever be that angry and aggressive! That diet even put me in the emergency room for a whole day.

I got off of the diet for a few weeks and got back on and got so sick that i couldn't stop vomiting the whole day. Had some meat and my stomach calmed right away, and the intense vomiting subsided within a few hours. However I haven't been quite the same since that diet even after 3 years of being off of it. I'm far more sensitive, much more prone to PSIs, and more susceptible to nightmares, insomnia, anxiety and depression. It's harder for me to manage my blood sugar, and I cannot go as long without eating.

However just because someone isn't a vegan doesn't mean they hate animals or don't care about them either. I don't get the widely held belief that meat eaters somehow must HATE animals. Some people's bodies won't allow them to be vegans/vegetarians. Just because you stop eating meat or animal byproducts doesn't turn you into an herbivore.

Animal t**ting? Don't even get me fucking started on the ethics! I have scars, and not just mental ones.

Back to the topic of discussion. I DO love animals. I am what I'd consider a no-contact zoo. I love other primates like monkeys and bonobos (wink wink fellow MAPs, look em up!) and I was humped by dogs as a kid. But I've always been 'that' kind of animal lover. I seem to get along with animals more than humans. Hell, I imprinted on primate behavior and so I look like a freak in public.

I can imitate white handed gibbons calls to a T, and have even had full on conversations with a family pair of gibbons at a zoo. A female Capuchin monkey has a crush on me too, so do the spider monkeys for that matter. One will scream at my dad until he's out of sight. There was a parrot at a local cat shelter who would scream but as soon as he saw me, he'd quiet right down.

Safe to say, I don't have an issue with zoos AS LONG AS the animal is the one to initiate the contact. This whole thing about animals not consenting again is like how it is with children. People seem to think that only human adults can consent. Many animals have been observed having sexual encounters with others outside of their species. Dogs hump people. Macaques have been reported mounting sika deer. Bonobos flirt with humans. Birds copulate with human hands, feet, and heads.

To me that just tells me we're just another animal that for some is an unfathomable abomination. To me it's just another thing that gives me peace in such a troubling, awful society that wants people like us to go extinct.

I've witnessed people's disgust and moral outrage over non-genital stimulation done by a presumably-non-zoophile done specifically to help get a pet to cope better with the experience of being in heat before they can be spayed, so yeah, you're right that those people's responses are irrational.
