They know that the land is in good hands. We are planting trees to help restore the ecosystem after years of monoculture style farming. A big part of organizing is giving people enough information to collaborate with you. So all they really needed to know was that we were going to be doing regenerative farming and Permaculture gardening practices.

You can find more information and donate directly to https://GoFundMe.com/f/reparations-realized or https://patreon.com/vivanabondans. There are monthly subscription options to support long term.Thank you!

Plus 1 major issue I would personally struggle with. Moving to this place would be openly admitting you are a pedophile
We are not openly advertising this space as a “pedo town”. This is a community like any other community where we are building around shared resources. People’s sexual lives are their own and privacy is respected. Not even our neighbors know we are trans or queer nor have they asked bc that’s nobody’s business.
That sounds good. I hope it works out. It sounds so freeing. I'd probably be too afraid to live there. But it's something I'd love to visit and get to know the community

I think some kind of intentional community for MAPs is a good idea but there are a lot of obstacles to this kind of thing being realized. First are the same basic logistical and financial obstacles all intentional communities face, even non-controversial ones. It's hard enough to embark on an undertaking like this even without massive societal backlash. But of course on top of those mundane difficulties a publicly visible MAP community would encounter extreme resistance in most places.

Even if you do it in a country where you're unlikely to have to deal with explicit repression from the government, the threats and harassment that would occur if the existence of a pedo-town blew up on the internet would be overwhelming. Remember that MAP camp thing that never ended up happening a few years back? That was in the US, where the organizers would've been 100% legally in the clear, but if it did actually happen the whole campsite most likely would've been swarmed by a lynch mob. And that was just for a temporary meetup in the middle of the woods.

Even MAP psychiatric orgs like B4U-ACT which present themselves as being about abuse prevention and mental health still have to keep a low profile and maintain secrecy around the location of in-person events in order to function without being shut down by threats.

The only way I can see something like this working is if it were to fly under the radar and the MAP friendly aspect of it was kept on the down low(which seems to be what OP is doing), or if some multi millionaire with enough resources to hire lots of security and persevere through the threats and bad publicity was backing it.

Be careful though, the fact that you're posting on this forum about it means a motivated anti looking at this post could try to do something. Although I doubt there are many antis who would go as far as flying to Haiti to cause problems for you. At most one of them looking at this post might try to get your gofundme shut down find out or find out where in Haiti you are and warn your neighbors or whatever, but I don't know if anybody over there would give a shit.
