Does anyone else find it frustrating to admit youre a pedophile and then people tell you to kill yourself?

I've admitted on other websites (like 4chan or reddit) that i feel sexually attracted to children and i dislike it, but people told me to kill myself as if i have done something wrong. Does anyone else find this frustrating or annoying?

First off, kudos to you for admitting that on those websites; what frustrates me more is that, reading on mainstream platforms, it seems MAPs are not existent. You at least give an uplifting signal of presence to other less courageous MAPs who did not find yet places like this one.

What you get as reply is just knee-jerk reaction from stupid people. Were the dominant narrative different, they will tell you something else. Yes, frustrating, because there is basically no variation, thus no possibility of dialogue.

And I'm sorry you dislike being attracted to children: evidently, admitting it doesn't change the result, and maybe makes those losers even happier, thinking you are suffering from it.

People dont admit it because of the reaction from other people. For example on reddit, if you admit you're attracted to people below 18, people will downvote you and insult you by telling you to get help or call you names.

4chan is also anonymous and supposedly allows free speech but when I said that i was attracted to children they banned me for several months.

The main reason i dislike it is because I feel like I can't maintain a relationship with an adult woman because I wont feel attracted to her that much. I havent dated or been in a relationship before as well so it makes me feel distressed. I used to be attracted to adult women a lot more but I lost interest in them over the years.

Same! I'm a fictophile pedophile (or as I call it phantasMAAP). Having hyperphantasia makes it easier for me to enjoy fantasies without needing the real thing-not even CP.

Yet to so many people just the IDEA ALONE warrants a death threat and suicide baiting. I swear these people cannot tell the difference between fiction and reality, which is scary considering they're the mass at this point.

4chan is a lot more split on pedo stuff than reddit from my experience, sometimes you can get away with it and meet like-minded idiots or sometimes a mod just has a hissy fit and bans you for "pedo bullshit". it can be some dumb fun with the sensational shitposting of 4chan, though, i don't use imageboards in current year because i respect myself
reddit is more of a echochamber than 4chan with the lack of upvotes and usernames so it's a lot more obvious there
centralized internet forums/social media is sort of a lost cause for me at that rate, it's less so the 'kill yourself' replies moreso than the absolutely stubborn persistence and people being unable to sympathize, be honest or even change their perspective on things, but i guess that's encouraged on the modern internet.

If you can gather any identifiable info on people doing this, please let me know. We can then look into their social media and try to find something to report.

Many of the people who make such comments toward MAPs are hateful/violent in general. We already have an active police case against one such piece of shit.

Frustrating, yes. Discouraging, no. My frustration is with their seemingly, self imposed ignorance, and steadfast unwillingness to consider another's point of view, to be in any way valid, because it doesn't conform to their paradigms. Essentially stupid people annoy me greatly!
