I dont think so, i think the article you posted is talking about sex offenders and not non-offending pedophiles. If it was true pedophiles were lower iq then wouldnt people with other paraphilias or homosexuality also have a lower IQ on average as well?

It is not surprising that in a criminal population, those who get caught with very young children will generally be mentally impaired males. The smart ones never went near a child that young, or if they did, they certainly didn't do anything to make them complain or give the game away. So smart "pedophiles" don't enter the sample.

This is all very basic analysis... but idiots like Cantor want to extrapolate it to all pedophiles.

Autistic people are slightly less likely then the general public to commit hands on CSA crimes but are significantly higher offenders when it comes to internet only crimes like decoy solicitation and CP. One thing I'll add is that autistic people can be dumb at survival skills and socializing but wicked skilled at computer science and technical knowledgeable things
