Is it possible that porn can change your sexual preferences?

I'm a 20 year old male and before I was 16, I had a preference for adult women, especially with large breasts and butts, but when I was 16 I started to feel attracted to girls 13 or younger, I became attracted to their body type (small breasts, short height, cute face, no pubic / body hair etc) and developed a preference for them.

I suspected that it was because of a porn addiction, i looked at loli hentai at the time. However most people have told me porn didnt change my preference, I was always a pedophile but just didnt know it until I was 16. Is this true?

Preference can mean two different things, orientation and paraphilia. I haven't seen convincing evidence porn can make you gay if you're straight. Regarding paraphilia, we run into problems, because it isn't clear that all paraphilias develop the same way. Even though pedophilia is formally referred to as a paraphilia, it's closer to an orientation because the process which causes it is prenatal.

When people say pedophilia is an orientation, it isn't that homosexuality is morally equivalent to pedophilia, it's that it's something hardwired that no amount of behavioral interventions or laws will stop from occurring. With conversion therapy, people treated homosexuality as something mutable, which could be changed. It's a similar thing with pedophilia, yeah no shit child isn't a gender, the point is people can have hardwired attractions to children which develop prenatally, so it is unlike virtually every other paraphilia.

If you mean sexual/romantical orientations then No, you can't change them at all, I did try to have sex with adults in the past as a teenager and since I'm an exclusive MAP I felt nothing, I enjoyed the attention though.

If you mean kinks, then Yes, I'm aware that I have developed some kinks I didn't express until years ago, I'm not sure if you can give up on them afterwards but it's definitively possible to get a kink by associating it with sexual pleasure
