Bear in mind, some of these people definitely won't work together. For example Nickerson isn't going to have anything to do with Amos Yee; MrGirl had a hostile interview with James Cantor which probably means Cantor will likely have nothing to do with him. Pick who you try to recruit carefully.

I will have to find time and resources to sign up for that. I struggle so much financially.

Protonmail is free. Activism can be a real time sink though. Maybe organizing something like Patreon, but that allows funding for MAP activists would give us the "infrastructure" to get more stuff done (if that doesn't already exist).

anonymity at risk.

I guess only brave souls know there is nothing fundamentally illegal about talking business and organizing. This platform is find its own way, but I think it slow. Responds could take days. I would love to see a monthly, weekly, few times a year.

I'm not worried about law enforcement as much as harassment/vigilantes/stalkers. It feels like we are better off choosing public appearances carefully and organizing without outside pressure when possible.

AMSC - "adult-minor sexual contact" is intended to be a value neutral term used instead of "child sex abuse". The problem with "child sex abuse" is that it becomes tautological. Rather than researchers looking at contact between adults and minors impartially, they assume abuse from the beginning and then work backwards to find what was abusive. It may be true that most AMSC is abusive- an anti-c MAP may hold that opinion- but even so there is no reason to use language that universally assumes abuse.

PIM - "prohibited images of minors" similarly intends to refer to images based on their legal standing, rather than moral standing. Illegal images, depending on jurisdiction, can include lolisho, fiction, AI generated and non-coerced self generated images. The term "CSAM", again, assumes that the images depict actual abuse, when not all illegal content is actually abusive. Meanwhile, the term "CP", as some critics point out can result in a overly positive interpretation of content that is blatantly abusive and harmful. "PIM" avoids both of these extremes by merely describing that the images depict minors and are illegal. Both abusive and non-abusive content is included in the term.

Re Savile ...

In 2009 the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) claimed that “an absence of statements from the victims led to there being insufficient to charge the suspect with any criminal offence. On October 1st 2009, the suspect was interviewed. He denied all the allegations and suggested that such complaints were motivated by money and the type a TV and radio celebrity attracted.” The basis of the final decision by CPS was confirmed in a written response on 26 October 2009 as “… on applying the evidential test in the absence of statements from victims, there is clearly insufficient evidence to charge the suspect with any criminal offence.”

I am puzzled by the stark contrast between the sympathetic coverage the UK celebrity Huw Edwards gets on this board and the vitriol heaped on the UK celebrity Jimmy Savile. The former pleaded guilty and has received a suspended prison sentence as a result. The latter was never charged with any crime and therefore neither appeared in court nor received a prison sentence. On the other hand, both were tried by UK media, found guilty, and thrown to the wolves, Savile posthumously.

I recommend everyone consider the evidence or lack of it relating to the "crimes" he was supposed to have committed, every last one awarded to Savile posthumously. A good place to start is the jimcannotfixthis.blogspot.com - there are some 825 plus blogs on this resource dating back over the last decade. There are other resources too that have painstakingly sifted through the lies, the criminality, and the cowardly vendetta waged against Savile over the past decade.

Many MAPs in the collective west have suffered and continue to suffer the same fate as Edwards and Savile. I may not be able to change that destructive paradigm overnight, but evidently I see I have had to start the process right here ... of all places.

All of this data information collection about court cases and law is heady stuff that I don't find very useful at all to the majority of MAPs.
It's all very sterile & cold.
What MAPs need is philosophy and emotional stimulation, good leadership, not facts and spreadsheets.
Fund me and I will deliver.
