"The Innocent Child" quickly fades away when "charged as an adult" enters the scene. I am in no way excusing the child from what ever act that made the justice system want to charge them as an adult. However, it see it as hypocrisy. If a mind that age is mature enough in which adult charges are the answer for the act committed, then that age mind is mature enough to decide on sexual consent.

The hypocrites contort their minds into pretzels in order to say that "these are adult crimes, therefore the perpetrator must be thinking like an adult", but refuse to believe there there is any way the same minor can consent to sex under any circumstances, let alone sign contracts, drink or gamble or play the lotto, or nowadays even walk on a path alone. They are bad faith actors plain and simple. The sooner the average person understands this the better we all are.
