Dunno! There are some children who are naturally intelligent in certain areas, on par of not exceeding those of adults.
Intelligence and knowledge aren't the same thing. You can be as dumb as rock and still be more knowledgeable about certain things. Children don't have to be equals to argue for a pro c position, in my opinion.

Equal in needing respect and appropriate autonomy.

Different set of needs - but this is not just child vs adult. Needs for baby, toddler, child, teen, young adult, adult, older adult all different. It is right that there are different rules in some ways especially when it comes to caring for people but there are no simple lines and no blanket boundary from child to adult.

If I had to say something here... As an AAM, I do want to be treated as an equal. No matter my age or intellect, equality would be for the best, for all of us. It may be idealistic to wish for a thing, but I can't deny that this is one of my greatest hopes for the futured. To be an equal alongside others, without being seen only as my age. I am so much more than that, and the same goes for my fellow AAMs.

Yes. I believe they should be allowed to do and enjoy all the basic things which an adult is allowed to.

Emotional congruence.

No I don't connect or relate to them better. In fact I'm probably quite disconnected, due to my own childhood being a difficult one.

But I do view them as an equal. I think they're just as important as I am, so are their opinions and the respect they ought to have. Many children are mistreated or not respected. And they have valuable insight, that sometimes adults even lack. Who am I to impose myself as being superior to them? Even if I do, it'd be while recognizing that I'm not necessarily righteous in doing so.

And to me, this isn't related to pedophilia or AAM at all, just in general. And it goes for all, not just children, also animals, anything else. If I'm entitled to being on this earth, then anyone and anything else is entitled to just as much.

Greatly enjoy talking to people of all opinions. I never judge anyone because I'm non-emotional.

mrlolicon93 wrote: Sat May 09, 2026 4:04 am As a pedophile do you view children as your equals and do you connect/relate with them better than most adults?

I can't speak for other pedophiles but this is definitely the case for me specifically as someone who is on the autism spectrum and a big kid at heart i see children as my equals and while i am non-exclusive and like adults too my attraction towards children is a lot stronger than my attraction towards adults most of the time and i prefer to be around children whenever they are around.

To me it seems most adults don't care about children nor care to understand them and us as pedophiles understand them the most.

If a little girl is happy i am also happy if she is sad i am also sad if they have feelings to share i am always willing to listen.

Personally i can connect with and get along with other adults just fine but i prefer to be around kids like if i am sitting at a table with other people and they are all talking about boring adult stuff i tend to get really bored and my mind wanders and sometimes i think to myself i wish a little girl would come up to me and ask me to play with her right now.

Pedophiles obviously don't exist for no reason we obviously have a purpose on this earth and i think we are meant to be children's mentors and pedophiles are meant to bring up children.
