Mother’s female friends molest boy repeatedly in Gujarat

A man in Ahmedabad has filed a police complaint alleging that his wife's friends molested his son over a three-year period. The incident came to light when the son expressed reluctance to live with his mother. An investigation is ongoing, with the accused women yet to be arrested....

AHMEDABAD: A 40-year-old man from Vastrapur on Wednesday filed a complaint with police alleging that two of his wife’s women friends had repeatedly molested his son, now 16, between 2019 and 2022.
The complainant, a businessman, stated that his son had filmed a video narrating his ordeal and the sequence of events leading to him being molested.

The complainant and his wife have been living separately and their divorce petition is pending.

The complainant is currently the custodian of his son and daughter (20).
The complainant’s son, a Class 12 student, told his father what had happened in May 2022, when he was informed that his mother was seeking his custody.
He stated in the FIR that his son had immediately told him that he did not want to go with his mother but did not say why.
He shot the video and sent it to his father.
“On May 31, 2022, I informed my son about the custody case, and he got upset. The next day, my son sent me a video in which he was crying and saying that he did not want to go to his mother because when she left him at the house of her two friends, they would make him take off his clothes and touch him inappropriately,” the complainant said.

The complainant said when he discussed the matter with his son, the boy told him that when his mother had first taken him to the accused duo’s house to see their exotic birds when he was 11, in 2019. The two women had touched him inappropriately at the time.
The two women threatened to make videos of him and share them on social media and with his school group if he told anyone what had happened.
His father had in Sept last year filed an application of complaint.
Vastrapur police officers said he had also filed a court complaint over this. Vastrapur police registered a complaint under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and began an investigation.
Neither of the two women, residents of Memnagar, have been arrested in the case.

This is always the kind of stuff that causes damage. A society where adults feel they have to threaten kids in order to protect themselves is fucked up and definitely doesn't benefit the kids.
