My O my it's the theme game!

Post by Xuxa Nuit »

It's NAME THAT TUNE, you post a lyric from some song in your head, usually one that has something to do with prevailing thoughts.
First, you have to recognize the lyrics of the song of the previous post. It's easy to cheat.
Next you must add whatever lyrics is floating through your mind, for the next person to name.

Example:

"the lights went out and Nicky started to grind"

Then the next person would say, O I know what that is, Prince and the Revolution - Darling Nikki -from the Purple Rain album.
And then the person would add... "Hey child, stay wilder than the wind, and blow me in to cry" 8-)

Okay, now it's your turn NAME THAT TUNE and add yours for the next person!
fun huh?

Hey child, stay wilder than the wind and blow me in to cry
 :D
gawd that's cute

It's taken from Come Undone by the pop rock band Duran Duran.

Now, for the next line:

"But nothing could ever stop us, From stealing our own place in the sun"
Defend the beauty! This is your only office. Defend the dream that is in you!

I had to cheat in order to move the game along. At first Chris Tomlin - Our God came up for some reason so I watched that a few times waiting for it to say "But nothing could ever stop us, From stealing our own place in the sun" but it never did  still, I was like wow spectacular.
Then I tried it again, Starset - It has begun came up
That was unexpected, thank you xerxes I will replay it many times, I've always loved the theme game!
Hey, hey, heh, you could say I'm a starset lover. ;)  :ugeek:

Counting Crows - Round here

Before I move on: Wow, glad to see someone who loves Starlet. Back in middle school, I used to listen to their albums all the time. My favourite hits have to be It Has Begun, My Demons, Carnivore, Satellite, Telescope, Die For You, and Monster.

Now, for the next line:

"We're closer to the truth now Take me home"
Defend the beauty! This is your only office. Defend the dream that is in you!

"We're closer to the truth now Take me home"
Cryoshell - Closer To The Truth

It's usually more difficult if you choose lyrics that aren't in the song title. In this case it did me no good because I've never heard of Cryoshell before. Maybe I'm wrong? Very cool song, plus female artist makes it an added bonus for me! 8-) :D
My O my the theme game is hard sometimes. Not so easy at it may seem on the surface.

Okay, now everyone here should know this song without cheating! ;)
"O say say say, O say say say, wait... well they don't love you like I love you"
