Mu is an international organization representing MAPs around the world. A recent survey of our community revealed a number of key concerns. One of the biggest issues was the misunderstanding of minor-attraction and all it entails. Let's take a quick look at some of the major misunderstandings.

Note that no age of consent law mentions friendship with an adult. That's why the antis came up with "grooming" to discredit friendliness, platonic friendship, and attention. They made it possible to disable comments with compliments under videos with minors, it is likely those had been written by a lot of people and it is not convenient to ban everyone one by one

This is not universal. Where I live, it is possible for a man to be platonic friends with children, especially if he is known to work with children. Really liking children is not problematized as long as you don't actively go around telling people you're sexually attracted to kids. There's very little paranoia unless you're really creepy. Some parents and teachers do react negatively, but "leave that poor man alone" is just as common as "he might be a pedophile".

Nonetheless, I'm originally from one of the evil countries, and Mu is supposed to be international, so I persist in helping those who are stuck in the shitty places.
