I know right? I mostly blame Tik Tok for this given how strict its moderation policy is, and even then they have serious double standards on what is allowed and what is not. Matter of fact, this goofy self-censorship got started thanks to Tik Tok shorts, which spread into YouTube even though it's fine to say "kill" and "die" in YouTube (only downside is demonetisation, unlike in Tik Tok where you're account gets suspended).
