Recently, we have been the subject of a smear campaign by the far-right anti-trans hate group Gays Against Groomers, which has in turn led to our organization being defamed by firebrand Sicilian politician Francesca Donato.

Donato is a former member of the European parliament, whose extreme opposition to Covid-19 precautions and vaccinations led to her 'resigning from' the right-wing party she represented.

The usual suspects. Anti-intellectual demagogues.

Kids don't volunteer to get taken advantage of.

Having sex is necessarily being taken advantage of? What? The burden of proof is on those that claim a voluntary act is exploitative. How is it exploitative? Are we just supposed to assume children are never interested in sex under any circumstance? It's an unfalsifiable claim.

I think the key to the problem is not whether MU's position is moderate, but that these anti-intellectual trolls want all MAPs to die.
For these people, the most important thing is whether MAP can become a worthy target to be attacked, so as to gain populist support for them.
