I have always thought that Minor Attraction is not directly a Sexual Orientation but a sub-Sexual Orientation like Age Based, and that Gay and Lesbian are Gender Based, Sexual and Asexual as Active or Not, Demisexual as Conditional and so on...

Although I think a lot of MAPs are queer, I don't think it's for the reasons suggested in the article. Meaning usually derives from use, unless you're a linguistic prescriptivist.
Queer is by definition whatever is at odds with the normal, the legitimate, the dominant.
Thus, any identity that subverts or resists the cis-heteronormative mainstream, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ identities, kink communities, and non-binary gender expressions, can be deemed "queer."
There are several things here, that I don't think really fit what we refer to as queer. Consider the following examples.
1. A heterosexual couple consisting of a male dominator and female submissive.
2. Biastophiles.
3. Mormon polygamists.
4. Gerontophiles.
5. Heterosexual male ephebophiles.

None of these are typically what you would apply the label of "queer" to, even if they are abnormal.

However, there is a fact that has been overlooked in most of these discussions: the androgyny of children. If a heterosexual man likes masculine women, or a heterosexual woman likes feminine men, this is much closer to what people generally have in mind when people use the word "queer." A child is preferred because of the lower stage of development of sexual characteristics (e.g. absence of hair with boys and breasts with girls). The child is, in a sense, non-binary.
