Should people meet in person more?

Okay then, since me and strata have previously met, I would love to know how best to get back into contact with him again. If I were to tell him which other BL and MAP sites that I am actively involved in, would that be okay? When I try to send a personal message, something pops up on my computer screen that says I am restricted from doing so. Not sure why since I have not violated any rules.Jim Burton wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 9:13 pm As per the rules, this isn't a problem re. established and trusted users, or users who have previously met. Well, I just take it one day at a time. Much has happened ( both good and bad ). I am now heavily involved in the BL and MAP communities and that has meant a lot. I live in a different town now as I am sure you have probably guessed. I have tried several times to reach you but with no success. It feels awesome to see you here. I had wondered what was up with you after all this time. I hope you are well.Strato wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:23 pmI am aware of this board's stringent Mu membership intra contact rule number 5. Having said that, yes, I am that very same person. I hope you are doing OK and that life is treating you well. Great to be in touch again after all this time, even though it is through Mu's rather restrictive filter.

My contact email address is lodged in my profile as per stipulated in signing up to Mu. I guess we need a moderator (pretty please) to release that info to you.
Glad to hear you have survived the good and bad, and doubtless the ugly. We have a bunch of stuff to talk about off-line to be sure.
Hope to chat soon.

It can be done by contacting a moderator (I can't see emails).

Thank you Blue Ribbon.
Re: Should people meet in person more?
@blueribbon I would like to thank you as well. My introduction to the MAP and BL communities was in large part due to Strata. So thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
