We need to attract the high quality individuals. We fail because the high quality individuals come to an informed decision that it isn't worth the risk.

Exactly! and that's a big problem for our community right now, we should plan some kind of help for that kind of individuals, give them enough support so they can do real activism without so many problems.

In any movement there are those who speak out and those who support those who speak out. The important thing is that people contribute what they can, how they can.
