Exactly. Antis are not operating on reason, logic or even the most basic rationality, their intentional refusal to determine a "sufficient punishment" for pedophiles is perfect evidence of this. Any form of torture you suggest would still not be enough for them because vengeance isn't even the point. This is a core evil that is, by it's very nature, insatiable. It is the cause of the blind bloodrage hiding within all humans. It's not that they are reacting to something "terrible" with a rage that forms because of the things they're mad about, that inhuman fury is always present within them, merely seeking a catalyst to draw it out, or more accurately to give them an excuse to unleash it. It's like how the Hulk is always angry and it takes a superhuman will to keep it locked away, but given the right trigger, the demonic malice explodes out of them like it was on a hair trigger. I'm convinced that humans have always been like this, which has caused humans to engage in cruel behaviors, like segregation of "others", deep refusal to cooperate with others even at a personal cost, and even war and genocide.

Humans are not fundamentally good beings pushed towards evil by unavoidable circumstance. Humans are fundamentally evil beings pushed towards good only when absolutely necessary for survival, and even then there's no guarantee. Humans did not create the idea of Hell by looking at the world, they created it by looking at themselves. Why do you think the descriptions of Heaven are so vague? Human's aren't capable of descriptively conceiving of great goodness and peace, but they can vividly imagine nearly unconscionable evil, because Humanity is much closer to the latter than the former.
