Not spending time with children because mainstream adults are insane? That is letting the bastards win.
I'm not opposed to spending time with them. But have you seen what ideas they buy into? They are just as crazy to claim on social media even small age gaps are NOT okay between teens.

Their own jokes and treatment of adults is hurtful. I feel hurt and excluded often times, especially when they say older people are 'uncs' or when they tell old people to go away.
I have no idea about western kids, to be be honest. Kids here are not like that at all.

As I said on BL12, it's really a matter of how much effort you put in.
I'll think about it, but I don't have much hope in the future.

One of my students again asked to visit my place, and this time I gave him a yes conditional on his parents agreeing.

I hope they say yes too!

That's wonderful. A fine first step towards possibly letting a YF into your heart. Hope it turns out well.

The boy didn't end up visiting today, but I did go to the playground at work. Lots of boys of various ages wanted to play with me; we ended up doing sports for quite a while.

Hopefully the boy who was going to visit my place had to go to Grandma's, or something like that. I'll find out more next week.

I'm determined to make some new YFs!

The same boy told me he still wants to visit and has his mother's permission.

However, he seems to want to bring half of the boys in his class.

I told him he can bring a small number of friends, who also need their parents' permission.

Let's see what happens...
