Thank you for sharing this long history. It looks as if we just keep getting right back up after being knocked down so many times. WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED!

Frans was maybe not as mobile, and started to find it harder to attend meetings. But I don't think he was debilitatingly ill. Certainly, there was less interest for this kind of meeting, but the 2010 IBLD was a success, and no idea what happened to those after that point.

First Wave - LGBT minus
"We made a terrible mistake ... we were trying to be a political organisation and at the same time we were trying to be a support organisation." ~ Thomas O'Carroll
1912 - W.T. Stead, the activist who got Britain's age of consent raised to 16, dies in the sinking of the Titanic. W.T. Stead greatly expanded the use of popular sensational journalism to advance anti sex agendas,
1938 - California introduces "sexual psychopath" registration, the forerunner to sex offender registration.
1952 - gay liberation group Mattachine Society founded, pederasts were still considered part of the gay movement.
1954 - Dragnet TV episode "the big crime" describes a California sex offender registration system, when Det. Sargent Joe Friday investigates the abduction and molestation of 4 year old twins.
1969 - Boeing 747 debuts, opening up worldwide travel to people at a greatly reduced price, facilitating child sex tourism as a popular activity for First World citizens to avoid First World age of consent laws.
1973 - Tarana Burke, founder of the MeToo movement, is born on September 12, in New York City, where the World Trade Center twin towers had been completed earlier that year.
1974 - PIE founded (UK)
1975 - The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) is established in Pennsylvania. In addition to promoting increased restrictions on sexual interaction being consensual, it promotes a strong anti adult with youth sex message.
1976 - The International Society for prevention of child abuse and neglect is established, one of the first major organizations making effort to ban sex tourism for purposes of pedophile activity.
1977 - Petition in France to abolish the age of consent of 15
1977 - Anita Bryan's "Save Our Children"
1977 - Boise / Boston Affair (US) in response to the Revere
arrests
1977 - USA Space Shuttle prototype Enterprise test flights. Francine Hughes sets her husband's bed on fire, killing him, and is exonerated, claiming abuse, opening up societal acceptance of law enforcement intrusion into home and family life in order to detect abuse, and that greatly increases chances for prosecution of adults for having sex with children. The death of Mr Hughes in the burning bed occurs 10 years after three US Astronauts are killed in a fire on a launch pad during a test of the Apollo 1 spacecraft.
1978 - Child pornography made explicitly illegal in the US (without proof of obscenity needed)
1978 - NAMBLA founded (US)
1981 - Space Shuttle Columbia completes its first mission
1982 - Vereniging MARTIJN founded (NE)
1982 - Elan Patz disappearance (NAMBLA blamed)
1984 - PIE disbands
1986 - Space Shuttle Challenger disaster kills 7 astronauts shortly after launch, causing mass emotional trauma to children and youth owing to the teacher among the dead, raising a general sense of and public consciousness of childhood traumatic memories that could form the framework for claiming adult with child sex causes similar types of harm.
1987 - Paidiki edition 1
1987 - Boys on their contacts with men published by Theo Sandfort
1988 - Edward Brongersma publishes the first part of Loving Boys
1989 - First Ipce meeting (EU)
1990 - The Netherlands has an effective age of consent of 12
1990 - Ending Child Prostitution in Asian Tourism (ECPAT) is established, with a mission to make it illegal for First World citizens to have sex with children overseas. It would take many years for them to accomplish this goal. Depeche Mode releases a music video for Enjoy the Silence featuring the World Trade Center Twin Towers, very likely predictive programming.
1991 - The American Airlines 757 that would crash into the Pentagon on 9/11/2001, enters service on April 25, the day that would come to be known as International Alice Day, a day to recognize adult man with girl child intimacy.
1993 - Krumme13 founded (DE)
1993 - Jacob Wetterling act passed
1994 - Documentary "Chickenhawk" profiling NAMBLA released
1994 - NAMBLA expelled from ILGA

An abbreviated modern MAP history with Galileo2333 additions

by galileo2333
Galileo2333 additions to Second Wave - BLs, GLs and VirPeds

1995 - BoyChat started
1995 - Paidika ends
1996 - Megan's law passed
1996 - Dunblane Primary School massacre in Scotland, perpetrated by what would not until many years later be officially and publicly revealed as a frustrated pedophile. This prompted increases in school security that would also (likely by design) serve to make it easier for officials to catch adults engaging in sexual activity with children.
1997 - Kansas v. Hendricks allows indefinite detention of "sexual violent predators"
1997 - Indian astronaut Kalpana KC Chawla goes for her first spaceflight, aboard Shuttle Columbia, the same spacecraft she would be killed on in 2003, in what might have been a secret ritual sacrifice to annoint Federal antipedophile legislation.
1997- Indian music artist Cornershop releases Brimful of Asha, a foreshadowing of the 2000 (already planned?) disappearance of 9 year old Asha Degree from North Carolina.
1997 - Brick, a song and the accompanying music video by Ben Folds Five, is released, that might be predictive programming for the (artificially geoengineered?) Southeast Asia tsunami of December 26 2004, as well as the Space Shuttle Columbia (secret ritual sacrifice?) disaster.
1998 - Rind et al published
1998 - IBLD first celebrated
1998 - First use of the term "Minor Attracted Adult"
1999 - Harris Mirkin publishes The pattern of sexual politics: feminism, homosexuality and pedophilia
1999 - BC webmaster Robbie arrested for murder
2000 - GirlChat started
2000 - Asha Degree, a 9 year old girl disappears from Shelby NC Valentine's Day in what is suspected of being an abduction. This would be used to fan the flames of perceived injustice that Black girls being abducted or abused aren't getting as much attention as Whites in similar circumstances, and that would be used to promote feminist ideology that White men shouldn't be allowed to have intimate relationships with Black women because systemic racism creates an inherently coercive dynamic.
2000 - Cartman joins NAMBLA episode of South Park
2000 - Curley vs NAMBLA
2001 - SureQualityRadio started
2001 - The US Department of Homeland Security, established after the September 11 attacks, would quickly establish a secondary mission of investigating and prosecuting adults for having sex with children. The See Something Say Something rhetoric for reporting suspected terrorist activity would also be promoted to encourage people to report to authorities any activity they suspect is pedophilia related. The overall increase in security and surveillance that 9/11/2001 was used to justify almost immediately took on a secondary mission to detect and prevent pedophilic acts.
2002 - The Netherlands raises the age of consent from 12 to 16
2002 - Perverted Justice vigliante organization founded
2002 - 'AP' founds Puellula
2002 - Judith Levine publishes Harmful to Minors
2002 - Boylover.net founded
2002 - "Angels" episode of Law and Order SVU (inspired by NAMBLA)
2003 - Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrates on reentry killing all 7 crewmembers February 1st, Imbolc or Candlemas. 88 days, one orbit of Mercury later, on April 30, PROTECT Act 2003 is signed into law, making it a Federal crime punishable by 30 years, one orbit of Saturn, for a US citizen to have sex with a child in a foreign country, regardless of that country's age of consent. Mercury and Saturn are the names of historic NASA programs, and the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster might have secretly been a symbolic ritual sacrifice meant to introduce the new legislation.
2003 - Smith v. Doe upholds Alaska's sex offender registry as "not punishment"
2003 - BoyMoment founded
2003 - B4UACT founded by Michael Melsheimer (lek) and receives state funding
2004 - Tsunami in Southeast Asia kills over 500,000. This might have been deliberately caused by US military geoengineering, stimulating fault lines using electromagnetic auroral frequencies (HAARP, etc). The intent (hypothetical) was to encourage US citizens to travel to the region to perform aid work and have opportunities to engage in sex with local children. The US could then bust those aid workers using the Federal law enacted the year prior, creating a massive boondoggle for the private for-profit correctional industry.

Thanks for those additions, I'll have a think about how and what to integrate!

I'm thinking that eventually it'd be nice to post the timeline on the Mu main page encyclopedia. It's hard working out what is "important enough" so that it's comprehensive without be burdensomely long.

There were definitely some interesting additions there. A few of which I see as slightly tangential to our story, though.

Need to add:
Date of Edward Brongersma's appearance on Dutch television, Michael Foucault's appearance on television/radio, NAMBLA representative's appearance on Larry King Show. Dates of raising the age of consent in other countries (France 1945, Russia 2003, Canada 2008, Spain 2015...etc.)
