They actually believe that as well, they actually believe they're not maps. The media even feeds that delusion, the mass media pushes all this teen material on people while screaming rage about pedophiles, and their readers buy into it. It's like selling heroine to users while talking to them about all those damned junkies out there. It's quite amusing.
Interesting, I always wonder what percentage of men like prepubescent girls. Personally I like girls that are barely pubescent, 11-13 year old girls, but sometimes I fantasize about girls as young as 8.
My guess is that its rare probably less than 5%. Maybe historically it was more common but due taboos against having sex with children its become less popular.
That might be true. It isn't just men, I think most people feel attraction to attractive people, but their conditioning means it is filtered and repressed.
For example, when I've dated an adult partner and been head over heals in love, I didn't suddenly stop finding other people attractive, but I've feared being cheated on and so I've repressed that attraction. Looking back after a break up I've remembered people I've met and were attracted to and even had some regrets for not pursuing those attractions since my relationship didn't work out. I think that's all psychological.
The same for people who live in a world where we're told it's terrible to be attracted to young people. People still are, they just instinctively repress it. I'm sure if it wasn't taboo then most people would be attracted to young people, 11 year olds, 9 years olds and much younger.

i think this is also true, i think society tells us that pedophilia is bad and thats the main reason why most people arent attracted to children, I think in a society that is accepting of pedophilia it would be more common.
Personally, i wasnt always attracted to children, I started to feel attracted to them when I was 16, and before that I was mostly attracted to adult women. I liked women with big breasts and butts and milfs etc. I wasn't attracted to childlike features.
But even before I began feeling attracted to children, I didnt hate pedophiles or MAPs the same way most people do. So I think my perspective on pedophilia allowed me to become attracted to children.
