I think that, if society can grow more secular and tolerant, if chattel slavery can be abolished (even as its traces remain in the prison industrial complex and so on), and in spite of continued genocides worldwide the global population grows less tolerant of the violence and bigotry, that the notion that people need a group to hate is false, at least in the most universal sense. When times are hard materially, it's true that humans act this way, but ultimately I think that if there is sufficient material abundance and economic equality these won't play a major role in shaping society into a hateful entity.

I find it interesting that the article seems to associate sex with guilt and asexuality with innocence - it seems obvious to me asexual MAPs could exist, but I don't see that kind of desired relationship as necessarily superior to one involving AMSC, and I think there's a lot of sex-negative assumptions in the notion that someone hypersexual or sex-crazed is necessarily more predatory than someone else. A person who feels attraction maybe once a year and objectifies and abuses someone they're interested in is far worse than someone who's constantly aroused but always respects consent, in my view. Overall though, I do respect the work and courage it took to write this article, and I can tell it came from a place of pain when it comes to social rejection. In some ways I can relate, I'm not much for casual platonic relationships myself, but I also love helping people, and the thought of getting hate from those I've aided just for being a MAP is deeply depressing.
