As the founder of Predator Poachers, Alex Rosen has set out to make the world a safer place for kids both online and offline. Rosen spoke to investigative journalist Kristin Thorne about the group’s initiative during the latest episode of Us Weekly’s Uncovered, revealing how they find pedophiles online.

“So you guys essentially pose as a minor online, and then do you go out and try to find people? Or do you wait till they come to you?” Thorne asked Rosen during the new episode.

Rosen responded by saying that finding pedophiles online is “not hard.” He shared, “I bet you could find probably 100 pedophiles online in a week, and that’s being conservative about it.”

“Finding them is not hard. The hard part is the logistics, selling that you’re a real kid, the tediousness of it,” he continued. “As for just, you know, identifying yourself as an underage kid online, you’re going to find a lot of pedos. Just the follow through is the tricky part.”

“For example, in Texas, online solicitation of a minor, basically them going after a fake decoy account, is up to 20 years in prison.”

WTF? That's longer than a murder sentence. All for not harming a perfectly legal roleplaying 'decoy.'

“I got more time for going 100 miles per hour in Virginia. I got 10 days in jail for that,” Rosen said.

Bro, why were you speeding at 100 miles per hour?? You could've harmed a minor, way more than just flirting online.

A woman who set up a Facebook group ‘outing’ convicted sex offenders in Guernsey received a string of “abuse and threats”, many from fake accounts.

Predators in Guernsey was set up in November by Zadie – not her real name – to “spread awareness, as Guernsey doesn’t have a sex offenders register”.

Zadie told Express she had received threats to “smash my face in” and petrol bomb her house, while she was home with her partner and children.

She announced on Tuesday she was planning to close the group – which has more than 4,000 members – because “out of control” abuse was “taking a toll” on her mental health.

However, Zadie reversed the decision later in the day, adding: “I didn’t realise how much people really did care about this page.”

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (NewsNation) — A South Dakota man accused of killing a neighbor whom he had allegedly been told sexually abused a child was found not guilty of murder Friday.

Dylan Farmer was charged with first and second-degree murder in the 2024 fatal shooting of Casey Shaffer in Sioux Falls.

After his arrest in 2024, Farmer told police he was contacted by a woman to remove Shaffer from her home after she accused Shaffer of sexually assaulting her son.

The article seems to be pointing to another suspect as the mastermind behind the crime, but at the same time I'm mortified by how this man, who appears to be a clear accomplice and requested or hired killer has been fully let off the hook
