A UTA mathematics professor, Paul William Leafgreen, was arrested and charged with possession of child sexual abuse materials.

Police found 254 images and 52 videos of confirmed child pornography on his laptop during a search in August 2025.

Leafgreen has been placed on administrative leave by UTA and is currently out on bond; his next court date is set for April 10, 2026.

The British paedophile who staged a fake Disneyland wedding in Paris with a nine-year-old girl claims he has been attacked by inmates in prison.

Jacky Jhaj was arrested in June after hiring out the Paris theme park out of hours to stage a fake wedding with around 100 extras.
Staff intervened and called police when they saw the Ukrainian girl in a wedding dress and high heels, fearing it could be an illegal child marriage.

Jhaj, 40, has been remanded in custody at the Meaux-Chauconin prison since his arrest on charges of fraud, breach of trust, money laundering and identity theft.

According to court documents viewed by several news outlets, the messaging app Kik flagged an account for sharing illicit material in late August. Authorities traced the account to Booth’s IP address at his residence. Authorities allege someone shared the files involving minors — some under age 12 and others teens — on multiple occasions that month.

An estimated 250,000 to 600,000 people, and many families, follow Booth on YouTube and other social media platforms where he shares DIY and crafting content, primarily focused on paper crafts, card-making, and Cricut tutorials.

A prominent business executive has admitted hiring an underage girl for sex.

Court documents seen by Stuff show the executive received “commercial sexual services” from an underage person in September.

Rabbi Daniel Greer kept control of his yeshiva while behind bars. He kept control of dozens of Edgewood rental properties. Now a judge has ordered him released years early from prison.

On Wednesday, state Superior Court Judge Tracy Lee Dayton issued an order of sentence modification and discharge that allows Greer to be released by as early as 9 a.m. Thursday, primarily because of his old age and poor health.

The judge also maintained a 10-year term of probation that was initially imposed upon Greer when he was first sent to prison in December 2019.

The judge’s decision appears to bring to an end all civil and criminal cases related to the once-powerful Edgewood religious and civic figure who has spent the past six years in prison for sexually abusing a former student of his named Eliyahu Mirlis.
