But in truth none of us are free until we're all free. Even if we or the LGBTQ community get laws or whatever put into place to protect their rights, or even gain wide spread acceptance no one is safe until we stop the supremacy of groups that use hate against minorities (accept the 1% I guess, eat the rich) at all. Those that use hate as a tool will always just keep swinging at the most vulnerable people. Our answer must be to protect all vulnerable people, recognizing there are some intersections we are better poised to defend than others. And, as those hate groups manage to deconstruct large resistance efforts there is of course places we can support those being left undefended, and morph the resistance into new identities and functions. Just have to be cautious not to play into the crab bucket of it all by giving into phobia or bitterness and exploiting would be allies vulnerability, lest becoming a bunch of hateful tools ourselves.
Wow!! i'm WITH you on bold portion!!!!!

For example, i think of defending sex defenders (those 'Registered' citizens in the u.s.a. who are wrongly labeled "offenders") in a kind of 'bolo bolo' set up. Where those of us who can own weapons protect them, in the inner circle. Not that i think force is the best approach (but more like a last ditch approach, if even worthwhile at all!); i'm more inclined to CREATIVE FORMS of self-defense, including "crazy" ideas. Designed to do nonviolent jiujitsu with conventional mindsets! Towards classical nonviolent bridgings!

(not a good idea to discuss specific strategy online without privacy, of course; but i'm into discussing strategies i and friends have used and found profound openings, risking that they will be noted, but figuring that we can still utilize some)

Input always encouraged.
