Yeah, he's full of shit and using ChatGPT to write his invective. It reads like a parody of a 'hacker'.

Threads are not vanishing.

As well as being cringe, it's probably intended to put new users off and drive traffic away from the forum. Hopefully few actual users are viewing it.

I don't think I have time for another post but I'm glad I'm registered now. I was banned from another site and I don't know why.
Recently there was a major outage of MAP sites including this one as well as both girlchat and boychat and possibly more sites. I heard someone on VoA say it was a DDoS. Any news on what the situation was?
I have no idea. This is the only MAP site I post on.

I couldn't access the site for two days, since yesterday it's been back and forth and I've just now logged in after not being able to for a while.

I don't know how stable it will be for me but I'm glad it's apparently not permanent because I would really miss the site if it shut down.

I was browsing for other MAP forums the other day, I remember coming across one that had really strict requirements (e.g. 'never suggest that child-adult sex could be justifiable in any scenario' or something like that. Strong hyper-censorship of ideas, and I can appreciate 'trigger warnings' and 'safe spaces' for some people; even if we should challenge ourselves and hold our sacred cows up for criticism there's a time and place for that kind of confrontation, but one thing about them-they can never serve everyone since my insecurities and triggers don't necessarily bother you and vice versa).

When the site was down I thought maybe it had to do with that poster in the introduction section who threatened to hack the site or ruin everyone's life or something.

We won't be shutting down.

This is by far not my first DDoS I've seen or dealt with and it certainly won't be the last.

These happen, this is why we are spread out across other sites so we can still communicate even if one is down.
If all of them are down, I still have backwater communications with close friends that I frequently use and if those are somehow down, we have private Discords where we talk in code to get around any bans/reports.

We persevere and don't let anyone take away our ability to advocate or discuss online.

They eventually give up and move on, we don't.
