HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A Eustace police officer has been arrested after investigators say he was sharing child pornography online. An arrest affidavit alleges the officer uploaded the videos from an IP address which matches an address used from his city-issued patrol unit.

Cody Mitchell Burris, 32, of Tyler, was arrested Saturday after investigators reportedly found videos of young girls performing sex acts in his possession. According to an arrest affidavit, Burris was found to be an active police officer for the City of Eustace.

The investigation began on June 21, 2024, when an investigator with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children division discovered videos depicting child pornography being shared by a user with Henderson County IP addresses. The investigator received a search warrant for the addresses in November, and digital content was returned on Dec. 25.

According to the document, the content included additional pieces of child pornography and images of a man sitting inside what appeared to be a police car. The document says the mayor of Eustace identified the man in the pictures as Burris, and informed the investigator that Burris was an active officer for the city. The mayor also reported that Burris lived in Tyler, and gave a description of his vehicle.

Burris remains booked in the Henderson County Jail on a $75,000 bond. KLTV has reached out to the City of Eustace for comment.

If he made the reported threats - and we cannot believe the BBC - his behavior was clearly very wrong. However, stacked long sentences adding up to life imprisonment are an American cancer that should be strongly resisted, especially for a 24 year old. Compensation, sincere apologies and rehabilitation ought to be available.
South Wales Police said its investigation into the case began in December 2022 when the force was made aware of suspicious online banking activity linked to the downloading of indecent images of children from the dark web.
Officers linked an IP address to Edwards' address and, after his home was searched, victims were identified through Snapchat usernames, despite Edwards refusing to provide pin codes to two of his devices.

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced today that Jordan Francis Toyne, 36, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, was found guilty by a federal jury of three counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in Indian Country.

The jury trial began with testimony on January 21, 2025, and concluded on January 23, 2025, with the guilty verdicts.

During the trial, the United States presented evidence that Toyne sexually assaulted a minor over a period of time beginning in the Summer of 2020 until 2023, when the victim reached 16 years of age. The United States also presented evidence that Toyne sexually abused another minor in 2021.

At the time of the assaults, Toyne served as an investigator with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit. Toyne resigned from his post prior to the completion of an internal investigation conducted by the OSBI. The victims were unrelated to Toyne’s official duties with the OSBI. However, the United States presented evidence Toyne used his specialized knowledge as a Child Crimes Investigator to groom the victims and evade detection of his crimes.

The guilty verdicts were the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Owasso Police Department, together with cooperation and special assistance from OSBI.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma prosecuted the case because the victim is a member of a federally recognized Indian tribe and the crimes occurred in Pittsburg County, within the boundaries of the Choctaw Nation Reservation of Oklahoma, in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The Honorable Ronald A. White, Chief U.S. District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, presided over the trial and ordered the completion of a presentence report. The sentencing will be scheduled following completion of the report. The defendant was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshals pending sentencing.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Nicole Paladino and Emily Wittlinger represented the United States.

Troopers surrounded Brian and Elizabeth DiBiasi's home in Hamilton Township before they were arrested on Wednesday.

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Two New Jersey parents who work in law enforcement are facing charges in connection with an alleged sex crime case against children.

Troopers surrounded Brian and Elizabeth DiBiasi's home in Hamilton Township, Mercer County before they were arrested on Wednesday.

Attorney General Matthew Platkin said the husband and wife are charged in connection with creating, producing and distributing images of child sexual abuse.

Records show Brian, 39, has worked with the Hamilton Township Police Department for 21 years and Elizabeth, 42, has been employed by the Mercer County Sheriff's Office for 18 years.

On Tuesday, Platkin said investigators received a tip that Brian allegedly distributed multiple files online showing nude images of his wife in the presence of children. He's also accused of mentioning children being present while he and his wife had sex.

"Sexual offenses against children are among the most serious crimes we charge," said Platkin. "It's especially disturbing when, as in this case, the accused are members of law enforcement."

Some residents told us they were concerned because there are many children in the neighborhood.

"People look like normal people and sometimes they're monsters underneath and that's scary," said Hart.

Mayor Jeff Martin and Chief of Police Ken DeBoskey said in a joint statement, "Hamilton Township has zero tolerance for crimes of this nature. We remain fully committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability within our community and our police department."

Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler said, "As the Mercer County Sheriff and a community leader, know that I have zero tolerance for (alleged) immoral acts in our community and within our ranks. Like many employers, we cannot control how people behave outside of the workplace and at home."

Both suspects are being held in Monmouth County Jail.

The sheriff's office said Elizabeth DiBias is suspended without pay as police continue to investigate.

The Hamilton Police Division said Brian DiBias is being suspended without pay and served with a notice of termination.

Platkin said Brian is charged with causing or permitting a child to engage in a sexual act that may be photographed, filmed or reproduced (1st degree), engaging in sexual conduct that would debauch the morals of a child (2nd degree); possessing fewer than 1,000 images of child sexual abuse (3rd degree); distributing images of child sexual abuse (2nd degree); and possessing images of child sexual abuse with the intent to distribute (2nd degree).

Elizabeth is charged with engaging in sexual conduct that would debauch the morals of a child (2nd degree).

A police officer from Milford, Ohio, has been forced to resign after being accused of secretly filming a teenager in a bathroom with a hidden camera.

Eric Gregory, 45, is facing serious charges, including two counts of voyeurism and two counts of tampering with evidence. These charges stem from an investigation into his actions at a private residence.

According to court records from Clermont County, Gregory is accused of secretly placing a hidden camera inside a bathroom and recording a juvenile victim.

The police department learned of the incident and initially placed Gregory on administrative leave.

However, following the investigation, Gregory resigned from his position with the Harrison Police Department on Friday.

The Miami Township Police Department, which is handling the case, confirmed that the investigation centers around the accusations involving a juvenile victim.

However, the department has not disclosed whether the victim was a boy or a girl, nor have they provided any details about who lived in the residence where the incident occurred.

Reports from local news stations WCPO Channel 9 and WLWT Channel 5 revealed more disturbing details from court documents.

It’s alleged that Gregory not only set up the hidden camera but also tried to destroy evidence by removing the SD card from the camera, cutting it up, and flushing it down the toilet.

Gregory is also accused of smashing the camera itself in an effort to conceal his actions.

Gregory, who had been a police officer for the Harrison Police Department, is now facing a $250,000 bond after being arrested. The charges carry significant penalties, including the possibility of prison time if he is convicted.

The case has sparked outrage in the community, as residents react to the disturbing allegations against someone who was entrusted with upholding the law.

Victoria Police officer who called himself a ‘proud pedo’ pleads guilty to child abuse offences

A paedophile senior Victoria Police officer has admitted to seven child child abuse-related charges relating to nearly 20,000 videos and images of girls as young as two.
Allan Hawley, 50, a leading senior constable in Sunshine who worked as a crime scene officer until his arrest in January 2023, pleaded guilty in the County Court on Monday, the Herald Sun reported.
The court heard Hawley said he was a “proud pedo and love little girls from 4 up to 12” in a group chat called “fun” on encrypted chat app Wickr, where he accessed and transmitted child exploitation material.
The once-trusted officer kept 19,856 files, including 168 hours of footage of young girls, across six devices, including on a Samsung mobile phone found by investigators hidden in his locker at Sunshine Police Station, 7 News reported.
Judge Frank Gucciardo called Hawley’s offending “shocking, grotesque and vile”.
“It’s insidious behaviour … it’s really staggering that adult men can engage in this conduct,” he said.
The court was shown a sickening message from Hawley, a father of two, to another paedophile saying: “I can’t wait for my boys to have their own, hope they have girls.”
“We should go into business, open up a pedo child minding company,” he said in another message.
The court heard his wife had caught him with images of young girls on his phone four years before he was eventually arrested, but still stands by him and submitted a character reference.
When police raided his home and asked if he knew why they were there, he said: “Yep. Child exploitation.”
Hawley will be placed in protective custody as he awaits sentencing

On Tuesday, Platkin said investigators received a tip that Brian allegedly distributed multiple files online showing nude images of his wife in the presence of children. He's also accused of mentioning children being present while he and his wife had sex.
So no children actually took part in any sexual activity or were even nude. They just happened to be nearby. And they have no evidence of the latter incident, just a mention. Seems extremely likely that they are their own children as well. If that's the case, I didn't think having sex in the presence of your own children was against any law.
charged with engaging in sexual conduct that would debauch the morals of a child (2nd degree).
Oh right, we don't want their poor morals to suffer. So let's just tear apart their families (or whichever sort or relationship). That'll show 'em how to be model citizens.
