Hell, if what that nice looking young man did is going to be called rape, then I wish he would have raped me instead. :)

They'll excuse this behavior in Tate because they identify him, but it's not a consistent principle since they wouldn't excuse the same behavior in left-wing/establishment figures.
Also, Tate has admitted to scamming lonely men before. Getting them to sell their houses for the sake of his webcam models. So I think his behavior should be seen in this broader context of his disregard for morality. Even with the issue of the irrational hatred of MAPs, I think the authorities are right to throw the book at him. I recall people having plenty of problems with him before this issue of having had an underage girlfriend came to be a focal point of criticism.
Sure, Andrew Tate did commit actual crimes, such as that telecommunications thing that he admitted some years ago and what you mentioned. But that's not the point. Tate is being arrested over dubious and trumped up charges of "human trafficking", not for running actual scams. In that regard, he is innocent, and should be defended from such accusations of "trafficking", since a loss for the anti-"trafficking" advocates is a win for MAPs, as fears of "human trafficking" (which, more often than not, is just illegal immigration) have long been used to demonise MAPs.

One doesn't need to be one of Tate's followers to see that trafficking charges as being suspicious.

Conservative commentator Candace Owens claims Macron was statutorily raped by his wife

Flagging right-wing podcast host Candace Owens is so desperate for a conspiracy theory that she’s mining debunked claims about French President Emmanuel Macron being raped by his husband.

Macron isn’t gay. His wife is a woman.

But Owens says she’ll stake her “professional reputation” (as if) on the claim that Brigitte Macron is, in fact, a “perverted” transgender woman who was a man when she met and raped the French president when he was 14.

In reality, Macron and Brigitte first met when he was 15 and she was a 40-year-old instructor at his high school. Years later, Brigitte divorced her husband, the father of her three children, and married the future president.

The rest of Owens’ fairytale fantasy begins with a YouTube video released in France in late 2021, in the thick of Macron’s reelection campaign. In the video, a woman claimed to have spent three years researching Brigitte Macron’s past—her conspiracy theory claimed Brigitte was, in fact, Brigitte’s real-life brother Jean-Michel Trogneux, who later transitioned into a woman.

A group photo of Brigitte’s family showing the resemblance between the two siblings was provided as evidence in the video, among other spurious contentions.

Owens first glommed onto the wild speculation in June, at the same time the two women in the video went on trial in France for defamation. A decision in that case is due September 12.

In the video, Owens falsely implies that the Élysée Palace—the French President’s official residence in Paris—had taken notice of her ramblings on the subject.

As if.

The desperate commentator—too toxic even for far-right “news” site The Daily Wire, which fired her over her overt antisemitism in March—returned to the subject this week following the arrest by French authorities of Pavel Durov, the Russian founder of Telegram, on charges related to allegations of illegal activity on the platform, including arms deals, drug sales and human trafficking.

In her podcast, Owens said, “I mean, the audacity of referring to Pavel Durov as someone who is complicit in abetting pedophilia. That’s what they said. That’s what the French Secret Service, the French state would like us to believe under the authority of Emmanuel Macron, a human being, a child who was statutorily raped—back when he was a child—by his husband, Brigitte Macron.”

“I will say this until I’m blue in the face,” Owens continued, “Brigitte Macron is a man. He transitioned. His name used to be Jean-Michel Trogneux, and then he became Brigitte. And when Brigitte was 40 years old—and no one will counter this fact in the media. Instead, they just call it a ‘conspiracy theory’ because that’s what it’s always—just call everybody names. It’s a conspiracy theory.”

“But the reality is that, yes, Brigitte Macron statutorily raped Emmanuel Macron. So if the state actually cared about stomping out people that were aiding and abetting pedophilia, aiding and abetting crimes against minors, then you would not have Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron in office. That is the reality.”

The case of the Nobel Peace Bishop (convicted of pedophilia) will be Pope Francis' test in East Timor

Many victims of pedophilia in East Timor, the next stage of the Pope's trip to Asia and Oceania, expect Francis to be able to clarify two shocking events on which the Church has brought down an embarrassing blanket of silence. In both cases, the prelates, despite having raped minors, are still widely praised for supporting the Timorese people during the violent Indonesian occupation. They are the Nobel Peace Prize Bishop, Carlos Ximenes Belo who is now in a monastery in Portugal (and punished by the Vatican in a ridiculous way) and the former priest Richard Daschbach currently in an East Timor prison.

The spokesperson for many former boys harassed in the past is a very influential American association, BishopAccountability.org that asked Cardinal Sean O'Malley, already an influential collaborator of the Pope, to report to Bergoglio on the need to shed light on the scandalous events.

To begin with, they say, "citing the names of the abusers", openly quoting them in public speeches, so as to urge the Timorese "to stop supporting them. The victims of East Timor certainly feel frightened and alone».

ABUSE

The continued popularity of the two perpetrators of sexual offenses, in fact, is still very high despite the crimes. And among the supporters is also the president and prime minister of the country, whose support has in fact created a general climate in which the victims feel intimidated to come forward. "A large number of victims in East Timor are likely afraid to report as they watch powerful predators baske in public affirmation," said Barrett Doyle of BishopAccountability. «It's a gloomy situation that Pope Francis could change».

ARCHIVES

Founded in 2003, BishopAccountability.org documents the crisis of child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. It offers a large online collection of documents and reports. Its mission is to give the public access to information related to the abuse crisis around the world. It is an independent non-profit organization that demands transparency and accountability.

Among the supporters of the abusers are also influential state officials, starting with the president of East Timor, José Ramos-Horta, who publicly praised his friend Bishop Belo, claiming that he would welcome him back to the country at any time. He also added to the AP that he hoped that the Pope would not mention the crimes at all because "it would be like accusing someone twice". A widely shared position also in the Timorese Church. Of course, it is not known if Cardinal O'Malley has already had the opportunity to inform the Pope. In any case, in the next Asian stage, he will be facing a crossroads: denouncing and condemning the pedophile bishop as the victims of pedophilia ask him to do, or being silent as the President of East Timor expects.

Vatican Disciplined Nobel Laureate Bishop Over Child Abuse Claims

After accusations against him became public, the Vatican said that in 2020 it had punished Bishop Carlos Ximenes Belo, a hero of the independence movement in his native East Timor.

ROME — A Nobel Peace Prize-winning Catholic bishop received “disciplinary restrictions” and was banned from “contact with minors,” the Vatican revealed on Thursday, based on allegations that the prelate, Bishop Carlos Ximenes Belo, had raped and abused teenage boys decades ago in East Timor.
The church’s acknowledgment came a day after a Dutch magazine, De Groene Amsterdammer, aired the accusations in an explicit account of abuse by two of the priest’s alleged victims.
“The Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith was first involved in this case in 2019, in the light of the accusations it received concerning the bishop’s behavior,” the Vatican spokesman, Matteo Bruni, said in a statement.
In September 2020, the Vatican limited Bishop Belo’s movements and the exercise of his ministry, Mr. Bruni said, and banned “voluntary contact” with minors and contact with East Timor, the tiny Southeast Asian nation where he is beloved for his role in winning independence from Indonesia.
“In November 2021 these measures were modified and reinforced,” Mr. Bruni said. “On both occasions the measures were formally accepted by the bishop.”

Bishop Belo, 74, was an icon in East Timor, sharing in the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize with another hero of independence, José Ramos-Horta, who went on to become president, as they sought a peaceful and just resolution to a bloody conflict. The Norwegian Nobel Committee specifically cited the bishop’s courage in sneaking two witnesses to a 1991 massacre out of the country so they could testify to the United Nations human rights commission.
They worked over decades to bring peace to East Timor, a former Portuguese colony where the Roman Catholic Church is influential, after Indonesia, which is majority Muslim, forcibly annexed it in the mid-1970s. The battle between East Timorese guerrillas and Indonesian forces killed hundreds of thousands, about a third of the entire population, and at one point Bishop Belo was forced to leave after a militia attack burned down his residence, which had become a refuge for people persecuted by the police.
The bishop’s two alleged victims, identified only by first names by the Dutch paper, said in the account that the bishop had raped them and targeted poor children and possibly orphans, leaving them cash to keep them quiet or coming back. One, identified as Paulo, now 42, told the magazine that Bishop Belo had abused him at the bishop’s residence in Dili, the country’s capital.

“I thought: This is disgusting,” he is quoted as saying. “I won’t go there anymore.”
The De Groene Amsterdammer reported that Bishop Belo had abused other boys starting in the 1980s in the village of Fatumaca, when he was a young cleric at the educational center of the Salesians of Don Bosco. He became a bishop in 1988.
On Thursday, Mr. Ramos-Horta, now in his second stint as president, returned to East Timor after taking part in the U.N. General Assembly in New York, only to be confronted with the stunning accusations against his old partner in peace.
“I prefer to await further action from the Holy See,” Mr. Ramos-Horta said, according to The Associated Press. “I can’t, I do not have, and I cannot have any other comment on that.”

In 1999, the people of East Timor voted in a referendum to break from Indonesia and gained independence in 2002. That year, Pope John Paul II accepted Bishop Belo’s resignation as head of the church in Dili.
He was only 54, more than 20 years shy of the required age of resignation. To explain his stepping down, a Vatican statement at the time referred to a canon law that allowed bishops under 75 to retire for health reasons or other “grave” reasons, but did not elaborate. Bishop Belo subsequently said he went to Portugal in 2003 for treatment for cancer.
The Dutch magazine reported that in 2004 he worked as a priest in Mozambique, and Bishop Belo himself told a Catholic news outlet, UCANews, in 2005 that he had moved to Mozambique.
“I am an assistant priest in Maputo,” UCANews quoted him as saying. “I do pastoral work by teaching catechism to children, giving retreats to young people. I have descended from the top to the bottom.”
He told UCANews that he went to work with children in Africa after speaking with Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, an Italian prelate who then headed the Vatican’s missionary office.

Cardinal Sepe did not return emails and telephone calls on Thursday.
Bishop Belo’s resignation coincided with the explosion of the clerical sex abuse scandal in the United States. While the Vatican began to focus on and review cases of abuse by priests, it did not do the same for many bishops, a more powerful position in the church hierarchy. They were generally unaccountable until 2019, when Pope Francis introduced a law requiring that accusations of sexual abuse against bishops be reported and investigated internally.
The Vatican declined to comment about whether it had known of accusations against Bishop Belo when he resigned in 2002 or when it later sent him to Mozambique, or whether it had alerted the local authorities in Portugal or East Timor in 2019, when it says the allegations were brought to its attention.

Radio Renascença, a private broadcaster partially backed by the Portuguese church, reported on Thursday that it had reached out to Bishop Belo, who is believed to be living in Portugal, but got no response.
A Portuguese branch of the Salesian order, to which Bishop Belo belonged, took him in at the request of superiors after he left East Timor in 2002, according to a statement on its website Thursday. The Salesians said he hadn’t had “any educational or pastoral positions or responsibilities” with the group in the country.
“It was with deep sadness and perplexity,” the statement said, that they learned “what was reported about the suspected sexual abuse of minors” by Bishop Belo, adding that they had no longer had a close association with him.
As recently as May, he celebrated the 20th anniversary of East Timor’s independence and delivered remarks, according to an article on the Salesians’ website.
The news of the allegations, and their acknowledgment by the Vatican, had already begun spreading around East Timor on Thursday.
“We are here also in shock to hear this news,” an official at the archdiocese of Dili told The Associated Press.

GOP donor Anton Lazzaro sentenced to 21 years for sex trafficking minors in Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A formerly well-connected GOP donor convicted of giving teenage girls gifts, alcohol and money in exchange for sex was sentenced Wednesday to 21 years in prison on sex trafficking charges.
Anton “Tony” Lazzaro was found guilty in March by a federal jury of seven counts involving “commercial sex acts” with five girls ages 15 and 16 in 2020, when Lazzaro was 30. The charges carried mandatory minimum sentences of 10 years with a maximum of life in prison.
Prosecutors had requested a 30-year sentence for Lazzaro. They likened Lazzaro to financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 on federal charges accusing him of paying underage girls for massages and then abusing them at his homes in Florida and New York. The defense asked for no more than 10 years.
“He’s a sex trafficker,” prosecutor Laura Provinzino said. “One who has shown absolutely no remorse. He has accepted no responsibility for his crimes.”

U.S. District Judge Patrick Schiltz came down in the middle and had harsh words for Lazzaro.
He said Lazzaro showed sympathy to only two people during the trial — “to himself and Jeffrey Epstein.” And the judge said he was struck by the “soulless, almost mechanical nature” of how Lazzaro exploited the girls.
“It’s almost as if Mr. Lazzaro set up a sex trafficking assembly line,” Schiltz said.
One of the victims called Lazzaro a child predator in court Wednesday and said she continues to be impacted by his actions.
“I still see him in my nightmares, in my panic attacks, in men in their thirties. … Putting Tony behind bars will save so many girls,” she said.
The mother of a different victim addressed Lazzaro directly.

“The damage you caused my daughter, mentally and emotionally, you didn’t just cause that damage to her. You caused it to me and my family and all these victims and all of their families,” she said. “You stand up here and you don’t even care. You’re justifying your actions. … I hope you rot in hell.”
The Associated Press does not typically name victims of sex crimes.
Lazzaro, who has said the charges against him were politically motivated, maintained his innocence, denying that he paid any of the girls explicitly for sex.

“I take a lot of offense to the government and court’s notion that I perjured myself in this trial. ... Grooming behavior is the word you used,” he said.

“If that’s the case, then I suppose anyone who gives someone a gift, whether it be a cheap gift or a million dollars, is grooming their companion for sex. OK? If that’s the standard that we’re going to apply, then I don’t know how there’s any standard to apply.”
Defense attorney Daniel Gerdts said afterward that they were “looking forward to the appeal.”
Lazzaro’s indictment in 2021 touched off a political firestorm that led to the downfall of Jennifer Carnahan as chair of the Republican Party of Minnesota.

His co-defendant, Gisela Castro Medina, who was 19 at the time, formerly led the College Republicans chapter at the University of St. Thomas. She pleaded guilty to two counts last year. She testified against Lazzaro and faces sentencing in September.
Prosecutors argued during his trial that Lazzaro enlisted Castro Medina, who he initially paid for sex, to recruit other teenagers — preferably minors — who were white, small, vulnerable or “broken.” He often sent cars to take the girls to his luxury penthouse condo at the Hotel Ivy in downtown Minneapolis, they said.

Gerdts had argued that the government’s “salacious” prosecution was based on “completely unfounded” allegations. Lazzaro has denied paying for sex, saying the government targeted him for political reasons and because of his wealth.

Carnahan, the widow of U.S. Rep. Jim Hagedorn, of Minnesota, resigned a week after the charges against Lazzaro were unsealed. She denied knowing of any wrongdoing by Lazzaro beforehand and condemned his alleged crimes. But his arrest fueled outrage among party activists. Allegations surfaced that Carnahan created a toxic work environment and abused nondisclosure agreements to silence her critics.
Carnahan and Lazzaro became friends when she ran unsuccessfully for a legislative seat in 2016. He backed her bid to become party chair in 2017 and attended her 2018 wedding to Hagedorn. They hosted a podcast together for a few months.

Lazzaro also helped run the campaign of Republican Lacy Johnson, who failed to unseat Democratic U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, of Minnesota, in 2020.
Pictures on Lazzaro’s social media accounts showed him with prominent Republicans, including former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence. He gave more than $270,000 to Republican campaigns and political committees over the years.
Several recipients quickly donated those contributions to charity after the charges became public, including U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer, of Minnesota, who received $15,600 but suffered no repercussions. Emmer became majority whip in January.

The sources of Lazzaro’s wealth have been murky. Defense filings have called him “an up-and-coming real estate owner and entrepreneur.” Items seized from him included a 2010 Ferrari and more than $371,000 in cash. The government put his net worth in a bond report at more than $2 million but said its calculations didn’t include his “extensive” but hard-to-trace cryptocurrency holdings. It noted that the search yielded multiple types of foreign currency, plus precious metals worth more than $500,000.

DJ jailed for 11 years after having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old schoolgirl and fathering a child with her

A DJ who fathered a child by a 14-year old schoolgirl after he groomed her into believing they were having an affair has been jailed for 11 years.
Kirk Wilding, 43, of Wigan, Greater Manchester, treated the victim as his secret girlfriend over a six-month period after earlier taking her mother out on dates.
The father-of-two ignored a police notice warning him to keep away from her and instead repeatedly met up - falsely claiming their friendship was platonic. Wilding was arrested after a witness at a house party caught him having sex with the girl.

Detectives also found hundreds of text messages between the two. One exchange read: 'Love u darling xxx' and she replied: 'It's u and I, don't want any 1 else.'
The girl initially refused to make a complaint against Wilding - but last May told police that he had groomed her. Now 15, she gave birth to his son last month.
At Bolton Crown Court, he admitted penetrative sexual activity with a child and child abduction. He was handed a restraining order to stay away from the girl indefinitely.
Despite his convictions and imprisonment, Wilding will still be able to fight for the right to get access to the child under family court laws.

In a statement, the girl said: 'I've not been going to school and lost friends as a result of what happened. I feel isolated and trapped. I couldn't make sense of things at first - now I have been able to step back and see what was happening to me.
Victim's statement about Kirk Wilding

'I've not been going to school and lost friends as a result of what happened. I feel isolated and trapped. I couldn't make sense of things at first - now I have been able to step back and see what was happening to me.
'I was controlled by him and he turned me against my family and I couldn't say anything because of what he was doing to me. I lost big part of what it was like being a teenager. I had Kirk on the phone all the time and he made me call him and I felt I had no choice.
'I now worry about how I tell the baby and about how people will judge me for having a baby in this sort of situation. It will have an impact on me for the rest of my life.
'Kirk will not have any sort of role in the baby's life but I feel paranoid about going out and wonder if he will be out and about and try and contact the baby. I don't want any contact with him at all.'

'Kirk will not have any sort of role in the baby's life but I feel paranoid about going out and wonder if he will be out and about and try and contact the baby. I don't want any contact with him at all.'
Wilding initially denied an affair with the girl and only confessed when a DNA paternity test proved he was the father of her child.
Sentencing, Judge Abigail Hudson told him: 'Your impact on this girl has been disastrous. Your behaviour was manipulative and controlling and will harm her for the rest of her life.

'I have concluded that you are something of a pathological liar. You will say anything to try and avoid responsibility for your wrongdoing. You denied sexual impropriety until it emerged she was pregnant with your child. It took locking you up before you stopped.
'I see from a report that you blame her and suggest she instigated all sexual activity and you effectively couldn't get rid of her. I cannot believe anything you say to me and you remain a significant risk of causing future harm.

'Sadly she will always know her little boy has a connection to you. It is the court's wish that she overcomes all the wrongs committed against her and is able to create a happy and stable home for her and her son.

'She has been placed in a very difficult position in particular for someone of her tender years. I just hope she gets all the support she could possibly need.'
Earlier, prosecutor Gavin Howie said Wilding began preying on the girl in June last year after he befriended her mother.
'She started to stay away from home and her relationship with her mother became strained,' he said.
'A referral was made to social services but the girl was found at the defendant's address. This led to him being issued of a child abduction notice as her family did not consent to the defendant having any contact with the girl.

'She went missing against at was located by police at the defendant's home.. He said he had let her in as he said she was feeling suicidal. He said he knew he should have contacted the police but he was worried about her mental health.
'The girl and her mother later attended a party where the defendant was also a guest. The mother went home but the girl stayed because it was arranged she would stay over.
'The following morning, the host of the party found the defendant lying on the top of the girl with nothing on his bottom half. He quickly rolled over and pulled the covers over them but the witness concluded they were having sex and told them to go.'
The mother was told about the incident but Wilding claimed the witness was a 'liar.' The girl then went missing again before returning home drunk with 'love bites' on her neck.

She denied having a boyfriend but after her family alerted social services, officials seized a pair of the youngster's underwear and sent it for forensic examination which found traces of Wilding's semen.
She later underwent a pregnancy test which proved positive, following which she went missing again and was found with Wilding. He was arrested shortly afterwards with the girl found asleep on his sofa.

He gave no comment in an interview and later, when asked if the pair were having a sexual relationship, he replied: 'Oh God no!'
The girl gave her statement while 29 weeks pregnant after DNA tests proved Wilding was the father of her child.

She said Wilding had engaged in 'controlling and grooming' behaviour towards her and would watch her taking showers and throw temper tantrums in front of her.
Tom Watson, defending Wilding, said: 'He has had a lot of time to reflect and is ashamed and embarrassed by his behaviour.'
Wilding was also ordered to sign on the sex offender's register and abide by the terms of an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

Son of Second Trump Shooter Arrested for Child Porn

https://edition.cnn.com/2024/09/24/poli ... index.html
The son of the man who allegedly attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at his Florida golf course was arrested on child pornography charges Tuesday, according to court records.

Oran Alexander Routh, whose father is Ryan Wesley Routh, the man prosecutors say set up a “sniper’s nest” at the edge of Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach when Trump was golfing there earlier this month, has been charged with two counts of receipt and possession of child pornography.

According to the complaint, FBI agents were searching Oran Routh’s residence and devices on September 21, days after his father was arrested, “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation.”

A source familiar with the investigation tells CNN the search was conducted in relation to the investigation of Ryan Wesley Routh.

Investigators found “hundreds of child pornography files” on an SD card from one of Oran Routh’s devices, court documents say. Agents also uncovered chats on devices they say belong to Oran Routh with an individual advertising cloud storage links for sale which included child exploitation content.
