Maybe the humor was injected in such a way as to provide the publisher with plausible deniability.

This would be based on the false assumption that it is better assumed to be a "hoax" if it attracts the "wrong type of attention".

Of course, as we know, most people just assume they are even more "deranged" and scuttling into the shadows like cockroaches.

It begs the question, surely if they are a threat, MAPs are safer in one place, where the only people around them are other MAPs and they can keep an eye on one another.

Do the MAPs suddenly dematerialize, or cease to exist when they leave these events and dissipate into the community? Do they just exist during MAP-related events, for the amusement of antis and locals?

Or is their crime existing at all?

Well, I kinda do hate pedophiles and anyone else who hurts a child. Their mental sickness puts them in denial about the trauma they cause kids and the lives they ruin. They aren’t going to force people to accept what they do.

"hurts a child" How is a child hurt by MAPs hiking in a group away from children?
"accept what they do" What "they do" is have a campfire?

It'd be humorously stupid if it wasn't so common.

Probably this. Trans people say that when people deadname them or use incorrect pronouns their right to exist is being denied. But MAPs' right to exist is under threat by large numbers of people. We're not just talking about social existence, we're talking about physically existing in the world.
