hese people live amongst us. These people are our teachers, dads, brothers, uncles, coaches, church goers, non church goers, the mailman, the repair man, the “friend”, politicians, the goddamn POTUS.
I have no hope for humanity. I do not trust anyone these days. It’s tough to be a good person knowing the most heinous of our species are looked up to. The rage I feel.
My life’s purpose is to protect my son from such evil, teach and guide him to the best of my ability.
So, your dad, brother or uncle can be a MAP... but your son can`t? Seems illogical to me. At least I hope if your son turn to be a MAP, you protect him from all the evil people who will want to hurt him and kill him just for existing.

They think it's something you purposefully choose. So in their eyes, they just protect them from making "that decision" and problem solved!

That really is how some parents and people who mentor minors or young adults see it. I've been subjected to conversion therapy type rhetoric from people were like that a few different times.
