Pedophiles have long been weaponizing compassion in order to normalize the stigma around the fact that they are predators. By changing the terminology from ‘pedophile’ to ‘minor attracted person’ or ‘MAP’, they hope you will welcome them with open arms, feel sorry for them, and allow laws to be passed to LEGALIZE their violence and CRIMES against children.
This slow normalization is called the ‘Overton Window’ where a subject matter is presented in doses to desensitize the public through small ‘shocks’ until society ‘gets used’ to the idea of accepting something they normally wouldn’t accept. It’s a slow crawl into hell. And pedophiles want you to run in.
Please educate yourself on this serious subject matter. We may think there’s no way that the age of consent could lower here in America, but these predators are well on their way to sneaking in legislation that will allow them to legally prey on our most vulnerable and innocent demographic: children. Why? Because you aren’t paying attention.
They are NOT ‘MAPS’. They are criminals, predators, sexual deviants, and psychopaths.
Period.
Pretty sure that isn't an Overton Window.
"I won't call them MAPs!" [immediately issues a series of motivations for using the word "MAP"]

"Weaponizing compassion", yeah that we're still human beings. Sorry to break the news to you.
Why do they keep using the same interview too? I hate how it's edited, it misses all the points the full interview hits. Guess that's the intention, fear through obfuscation.
Shame on TheEmmapreneur, you're a disappointing "journalist". Do better.
If you want the full interview, see the 24 minute and 20 second video here:

I recommend you actually watch the full video, this man is absolutely not a threat.

I have occasionally checked in on their X/Twitter account since I last posted on this thread, they spout complete nonsense 99% of the time. Not surprised really, these people occasionally spew anti-MAP sentiment to try and stay relevant in their increasingly irrelevant community.
Earlier this year, they posted one of their few hit-tweets,
https://x.com/TheEmmapreneur/status/1879282397599981779, about a 10+ year old NYT article that, while calling pedophilia a disorder (something I dislike, it's a stigmatized orientation), at least recognized it
isn't a crime. Which is correct, it is not a crime. I am not breaking any laws by admitting that I have an attraction to children. People can be disgusted by that, and I don't blame them as I was too with myself for a time, but these people are beyond childish in wanting MAPs to be afraid to reach out for help.
You're missing the whole point and making it worse. Do better.

The video lost me in the first 10 seconds, that's impressive.

The fact that it sounds like a 14 year boy kept me a little longer than that, but not by much.

It started with a TikTok. On a late-night doom scroll before bed, I stumbled across a creator warning viewers about a new term gaining traction on the platform: Minor Attracted Person.
That one video sent me down a rabbit hole, and for the past few months, I’ve lingered on the fringes of a movement that has sparked outrage online, and is made up of people who aren’t afraid to say they are attracted to children.
Shadowing forums and monitoring public commentary on social media, I decided to dig deeper and chose the very generic username domain123 to gain access. Those early weeks were marked by anxiety and constant clearing of my search history, an attempt to mentally scrub away some of the disturbing content I had encountered.

Unsurprisingly, the term minor-attracted person has been met with anger. Many argue that censoring the word paedophile is a calculated attempt to normalise unlawful behaviour. Critics say that diluting stigma in the name of empathy may unintentionally silence victims of child sexual abuse, and that neutral labels for non-offenders could be easily exploited by those who cross the line.
Antis missing the point AGAIN. No, MAP doesn’t normalize abuse. It can refers to pedophiles who are abusive or non-abusive. That’s it. Not treating all of us like criminals is apparently a tall ask for antis.
