Ex-CNN Producer Pleads Guilty to Sex with 9-Year-Old Girl

A former CNN producer pleaded guilty to a child sex charge on Monday for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl after luring her to his Vermont ski house.
John Griffin, 45, pleaded guilty in federal court to using interstate commerce for the enticement of a minor as part of a plea deal in which the two remaining counts of enticement of a minor he was initially charged with last year were dropped.
Griffin, of Stamford, Connecticut, met a woman online and persuaded her to bring her 9-year-old daughter to his $2.5 million Vermont cabin where he engaged in sexual activity with the child, according to prosecutors.

Griffin paid the mother $3,000 to fly from Nevada to Boston in July 2020, where he picked them up in a Tesla and drove them to his Ludlow, Vermont house, where he directed the young girl to engage in unlawful sexual activity.
The mother, Heather Carriker, was also arrested and slapped with child abuse and child sex assault charges.

The former producer asked the parents of several minors to bring their daughters to his home for “sexual subservice” training and allegedly bragged about luring girls as young as 7 to his pad.
He told the parents he believed that a “woman is a woman regardless of her age” and that as such, all women should be sexually subservient and inferior to men, prosecutors said.

Griffin tried to get other young girls to do sex acts for him through their parents, according to court documents.
In April 2020, he suggested to the mother of a 14-year-old girl that she and her daughter do a “virtual training session” over video chat in which he would instruct the pair to undress and touch one another at his direction.
Two months later he tried to persuade a woman and her 16-year-old daughter to take a “little mother-daughter trip” to his ski house for sexual training.
He attempted to lure the girls to his Vermont ski house for “training sessions” on such things as “spanking” and “c–k worship,” prosecutors said in court documents.

Heather Carriker, 48, of Henderson, was arrested on August 21, 2020, on two counts of child abuse, two counts of sexual assault against a child under 14 and one count of lewdness with a minor under 14.
Former Chris Cuomo producer Griffin is accused of flying Carriker and a 9-year-old girl described as her adoptive daughter to Logan Airport in Boston in July 2020 and then driving them in his red Tesla to a $2.5 million ski house in Ludlow, Vt., according to a federal indictment filed in Vermont last week.
Carriker was one of several women claiming to be the mother of a young daughter whom Griffin contacted on kink websites about training the girls in “sexual subservience.” He allegedly paid Carriker $3,350, in part for the flight to Boston.
Griffin’s apparent involvement with Carriker came to light as part of a police investigation in Nevada spurred by the child’s biological mother, Catherine O’Sullivan. O’Sullivan, who apparently took care of her daughter some of the time, discovered a trove of disgusting text messages between Carriker and a man, called “Meet Man,” who helped set Carriker up with at least four other “boyfriends” for BDSM activity, according to the police report.

At one point, Carriker allegedly references going to meet a man described as her “Dom.” Carriker also texted “Meet Man” that she had a “very eager 9yo,” referring to the girl whom she later took with her to meet Griffin in Vermont, who wanted to come see “Meet Man” engage in BDSM activities, the report stated.
O’Sullivan had no idea that Carriker had allegedly taken the child to Boston and Vermont to stay with Griffin until she stumbled across the information in Carriker’s phone and computer — which were accessible via the 9-year-old’s phone, according to the report. O’Sullivan then called Griffin, who apparently confirmed that Carriker and the girl were with him, the report stated.
Griffin also allegedly told O’Sullivan that Carriker had had some sort of accident in Boston and was hospitalized, and the child was alone with him in Vermont, the report said.

“John claimed nothing happened between him and (the girl),” the report said. “He told Catherine he did not want to talk to police but would if he had to.”
However, the girl told a police-affiliated social worker that she had taken part in explicit sexual activity at Griffin’s Ludlow home with both Griffin and Carriker, according to the police report. She said it all took place on the third floor of the $2.5 million ski house, the report said.

Retired FBI Special Agent Arnold Bell, who spent 12 years running a violent crimes bureau in Los Angeles that involved busting child porn rings, said that “predators” who get close to kids or even pose as their parents to engage them in sexual activity or swap and sell them out to others is “not at all uncommon.”

Political in Colombia by the appointment of Petro's new ambassador to Thailand: "I want a girl to get drugged"

The appointment of the controversial lawyer, writer and politician, Daniel Mendoza, at the Colombian embassy in Thailand has generated a wave of criticism towards Gustavo Petro. Members of the opposition and social leaders rejected his appointment, considering him a sexist and a pedophile given his virulent publications, with high sexual content, on social media.

"I want a wild girl who doesn't take care of her nails or shave her pussy; a real slob between the sheets, who occasionally leaves me hanging on Fridays, who takes a little bit of drugs, but with various things; a girl without guarantees with whom I always have to use a condom, one like you," he wrote on the old Twitter network.

"If you girls don't feed your pussy in a balanced way, it will end up malnourished and depressed. Or It could die of starvation," read another. "Holy week is coming, we're going to get her drunk, we're going to drug her, and then, when she's defenseless asleep, we'll tie her up and we'll all fuck her up," said one of the dozens of posts along the same lines, some accompanied by a photo of him in which he only hid his genitals with cell phones.

He also promoted drug use: "That thing about drugs killing is pure bullshit!!!" or "Without drugs, an adolescent youth may exist, but don't live."

His name first came to light a few years ago, after being involved in a scandal at the elegant Club El Nogal, located in the north of Bogotá, to which he belonged. More than twenty members reported that Mendoza stalked them in the gym and, "while doing so, he subtly touched his private parts."

Precisely in reference to these events, President Petro defended his decision with arguments that also raised hackles. "Somewhere they are telling me that I cannot name Mr. Mendoza as ambassador because some photos of him naked with some women were published," he shouted in a quarrelsome speech, delivered this Thursday in Barranquilla. "The women are not saying that they were forced, but that they liked the moment. How do they expect a libertarian and progressive government to prohibit love and making love? As if I were Pinochet. I am not Uribe, I am not a praying priest", he added.

"Worse than the appointment is the absurd defense that the president made. It is an affront to women," Congresswoman Catherine Miranda, of Alianza Verde, told EL MUNDO. And she added that "here we are not talking about love but about violence against women, about violent carnal access against minors in a society that seems to have normalized paedophilia and the sexualization of minors. Once again the president shows that he is sexist and misogynistic because this is not the first time that this kind of thing has happened. The list of abusers that make up his government is long".

The Ombudsman, Iris Marín, joined the criticism by considering that "Mendoza has publicly expressed his satisfaction with sexual relations with girls or with women who have previously been given drugs. That is not love, these are forms of sexual violence against women and, even worse, girls."

For its part, the Diplomatic and Consular Association of Colombia (Asodiplo) issued a statement claiming that it can "negatively affect the perception of Colombia abroad and hinder the strengthening of bilateral relations."

It is worth remembering that Petro, when he was a presidential candidate, promised that he would not use the foreign service to pay for political favours, but he filled the embassies with friends, collaborators and politicians of his ilk.

Miranda also blamed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luis Gilberto Murillo, for Mendoza's election despite having announced that he would create a section in his portfolio to protect women's rights. He did so after Armando Benedetti's ex-wife, when he was ambassador to the FAO, denounced him for abuse. But he remained in Rome until Petro appointed him presidential advisor with an office in the Nariño Palace.

Deputy suspected of pedophilia was accused by Kajuru in 2016

Senator Jorge Kajuru stated that a PL congressman, now suspected of having a relationship with a minor, harassed young people in the youth team of a club.

Suspected of having an intimate relationship with a teenager under the age of 18 after the Civil Police arrested two of his employees, federal congressman Professor Alcides Ribeiro (PL-GO) was accused of pedophilia in 2016 by Senator Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO). A security guard and an aide to Ribeiro's congressman were arrested this Thursday (12/12) for allegedly breaking into the minor's house and forcing the young man to delete images of intimate moments with the congressman. Eight years ago, Kajuru stated that Alcides Ribeiro harassed teenagers who played soccer in the youth teams of Atlético Clube Goianiense. When contacted by the column, the senator avoided commenting on the operation that targeted the congressman's allies. “Today, I have learned in life that it is not worth getting involved in personal matters,” he said. Kajuru retracted what he had said and even apologized to the congressman, with whom he has maintained a good relationship.

Alcides Ribeiro has not yet commented on the operation. The space remains open. The Civil Police of Goiás served arrest and search and seizure warrants against three people accused of breaking into the minor's home to allegedly delete compromising images that were on his cell phone. One of those arrested is the congressman's security guard, who lives in Aparecida de Goiânia, while another is the congressman's aide in Brasília.

The police suspect that the prisoners had forced the minor to provide the cell phone password to delete images that were in the photo gallery and saved in the cloud. The warrants were served by the Child and Adolescent Protection Department (DPCA) of Aparecida de Goiânia.

"The aforementioned heinous crime was intended to erase videos, photos and conversations stored on the phones, as well as saved in iCloud, with the aim of hiding an intimate relationship between the teenager and a congressman. The DPCA of Aparecida began to take steps to qualify and locate those investigated, who restricted the freedom of the teenager, who was threatened with the use of firearms so that he would hand over his telephone devices and provide the ICloud password”, informed the Civil Police of Goiás, in a note.

In December 2024, Anthony Strickland, pastor of Freedom Center in Bono, Arkansas (no web presence), pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual assault and was sentenced to ten years in prison.

In a previous case (June 2019), Strickland was charged with felony rape and second-degree battery.

https://www.arkansasonline.com/news/201 ... -assaulti/:
Jonesboro police said a Memphis hospital contacted the department last week after a 43-year-old woman came in with several injuries. She told police that 53-year-old Anthony Lee Strickland had attacked her, the affidavit said.

She said Strickland was intoxicated, and she gave investigators a “detailed account” of him hitting her at least two times in the face before raping her, according to the affidavit.

Officials said officers found three guns in Strickland’s car seat when they arrested him during a Wednesday traffic stop.

Authorities charged the Jonesboro resident with felony rape and second-degree battery.

Strickland is a pastor at the Freedom Center, a congregation he started in 2003, according to police and business records filed with the Arkansas secretary of state.

Phone numbers and social media accounts listed under the church’s name appeared to be deactivated on Friday.

Strickland was free on a $125,000 bond that he posted Thursday evening, according to the Craighead County sheriff’s office.

A judge set a no-contact order with his alleged victim and required Strickland wear an ankle location monitor.
https://www.jonesborosun.com/news/forme ... 23a02.html:

The rape charge was dropped in July 2019 by then-Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington, and Strickland pleaded guilty to second-degree domestic battery and was sentenced to 60 months of probation.

https://www.kait8.com/2021/10/08/150000 ... ault-case/:
A former Craighead County pastor faces up to 60 years in prison following his arrest for rape.

Jonesboro police arrested 55-year-old Anthony Lee Strickland of Bono on Oct. 6 on suspicion of rape and second-degree sexual assault.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the two victims claimed Strickland sexually assaulted them at his home.

On Friday, Craighead County District Court Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause to arrest Strickland and set his bond at $150,000. The judge also ordered he have no contact with the victims.
According to the Jonesboro Sun, Strickland has now been officially charged with rape:
A former pastor has been charged with rape and second-degree sexual assault in a case involving a then-11- to 13-year-old girl and her 11-year-old sister.

District Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause to charge Anthony Lee Strickland, 55, of Bono on Friday. Fowler set Strickland’s bond at $150,000.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the older girl, now 18, told her parents that when she stayed over about five to seven years ago with Strickland, who was a friend of the parents for 20 years and pastor of their church, he watched a movie with her. She said Strickland began rubbing her privates and asked her if it felt good.

The victim said she was able to get away and run downstairs.

After the victim’s mother was made aware of what happened with the older daughter, she sat down with her other children and asked them to tell her and her husband if anyone had touched them inappropriately and not be afraid to tell them.

The older girl briefly told her siblings what happened to her, and her 11-year-old sister broke down crying and said, “Momma, he did that to me, too,” the affidavit states.

The younger girl said Strickland began rubbing her private parts and she attempted to yell and scream. She said Strickland covered her mouth and said “shhhh.”

She said Strickland digitally penetrated her. She told him she needed to go to the bathroom and ran and got into bed with her brother.
On December 16, 2024, Strickland pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual assault and was sentenced to ten years in prison.
:
After his case was postponed 11 times, and almost a decade after the crimes occurred, a former minister has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexually assaulting young girls.

Anthony Lee Strickland, 58, of rural Bono, pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of second-degree sexual assault, according to court records. He had originally been charged in 2021 with one count of rape and one count of second-degree sexual assault involving two girls whose parents attended his church.

Strickland was the founder of Freedom Center, a congregation he established near Bono in 2003.

One of the victims disclosed the crime after she turned 18. According to the court information, the incidents occurred between October 2015 and December 2016.

After turning 18, the older girl told her parents that when she spent the night with Strickland, he watched a movie with her. She said Strickland began rubbing her genitals and asked her if it felt good.

The victim said she was able to get away and run downstairs, according to a court affidavit.

After the girls’ mother was made aware of the allegations, she sat down with her other children and asked them to tell her and her husband if anyone had touched them inappropriately and to not be afraid to tell them.

One of the younger children spoke up to say a similar situation happened to her, too. That child would have been under the age of 7 at the time.

Rape carries a potential penalty of up to life in prison. Under Arkansas law, Strickland could have received 20 years for second-degree sexual assault.

Strickland had previously been charged in 2019 with rape and felony domestic battery in the second-degree. The following year, he pleaded guilty to the domestic battery charge and the rape charge was dropped. Court records show Strickland was placed on five years of probation.

Finance exec, 54, accused of drugging and raping young teen at hotels across NYC

https://nypost.com/2023/06/15/finance-e ... cross-nyc/:
A 54-year-old finance executive was indicted Thursday for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl — whom he met online — inside hotel rooms across New York City and feeding her drugs until she overdosed, prosecutors announced.

Michael Olson was hit with a 17-count indictment for the alleged months-long abuse that was uncovered May 26 when paramedics responded to a Manhattan hotel to find him and the girl, who had ingested a cocktail of ketamine, cocaine and Xanax, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

The girl was rushed to a hospital and survived, and Olson, of Manhattan, was arrested.

He was released after posting a $1 million bond.

While out on bail, Olson continued to try to contact underage girls — despite the slew of charges against him and the fact that he was being electronically monitored, according to prosecutors.

The young teen he was found with was not Olson’s only victim. She was just one of many vulnerable young teens — specifically teenage Asian girls — the accused serial abuser allegedly preyed on, prosecutors said.

Olson first targeted the 14-year-old in December 2022, when he found her Instagram page and replied to a post she had made about clothing costing too much money, according to the DA’s Office.

He then allegedly sent her a gift card and began to pay her to spend time with him.

Over the next six months, he allegedly raped the young girl on several occasions — paying her $700 a week in exchange for sex at hotels in Queens and Manhattan, the office said.

Olson also traveled with the child on trips to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Miami and pretended that she was his daughter by purchasing her boarding passes using her first name with his last name.

He was charged with one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance to a child, five counts of rape in the second degree, seven counts of aggravated patronizing of a minor for prostitution in the second degree, two counts of criminal sexual act in the second degree, one count of facilitating a sex offense with a controlled substance and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

The executive, who worked for Dwight Mortgage Trust but is no longer listed as an employee, is expected to be slapped with more charges as investigators discovered Olson had contacted numerous other young teens in addition to the 14-year-old victim.

Olson’s iPad, which was recovered from the Manhattan hotel room, revealed more victims, prosecutors said at his arraignment in New York State Supreme Court on Thursday.

“A search of an iPad that the defendant had with him that day revealed numerous other victims,” prosecutor John Fuller said at the hearing, according to the New York Times. “There were hundreds of screenshots of various Instagram accounts of young, Asian teenage girls that the defendant messaged.”

Fuller alleged that Olson targeted girls who posted images of self-harm or complained of money troubles on the social media platform.

Many of the girls listed their middle or high schools in their Instagram bios, making their age obvious to Olson, the prosecutor added, according to the publication.

Olson would allegedly message the teens with dollar amounts of how much he would pay them to have sex with him, while also asking about their schools and taking vacations together, the Times reported.

He is believed to have also supplied drugs to other minors he targeted.

He allegedly kept detailed spreadsheets of what drugs he fed to what girls and how much money he paid to each.

Additionally, he had screenshots of the New York City public school calendar and Uber receipts showing pickups from elementary and middle schools on his phone, prosecutors said.

The accused pedophile also kept a collection of nude photos of minors and underage girls performing sex acts on the iPad seized by investigators and is expected to face additional pornography charges, Fuller said.

Olson was remanded without bail at an arraignment in New York Supreme Court on Thursday.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg encouraged other victims to come forward.

Pedophilia in Argentina: the summary of the case of child sexual abuse involving television stars

Argentina is shaken by a case of alleged sexual abuse of children involving well-known television figures including Jey Mammón, Marcelo Corazza, Marley and others. The Prosecutor's Office has already opened a criminal case to investigate the serious complaints, raids were made and there are several detainees.

Marcelo Corazza, Jey Mammón, Marley are some of the names that resonate in the media in Argentina due to the great scandal about sexual abuse of minors that came to light, after an investigation by the Prosecutor's Office.
There were wiretaps, raids and arrests in the framework of the case that dismantled a network of child corruption and human trafficking. The facts and details of the case are chilling. The investigations began with two complaints but now the prosecutor's file already has at least eleven stories from people who say they have been victims of this network of child abuse.

Marcelo Corazza

The scandal began to be known when last Monday, March 20, the Justice ordered the arrest of the former participant of the successful Argentine reality show, Big Brother and producer of the Telefé channel, Marcelo Corazza, in his house in San Fernando (Province of Buenos Aires) in the framework of an investigation for corruption of minors that had three other detainees.

These people are accused of "having formed an organization intended to recruit minors and adults in vulnerable situations, in order to subject them to the practice of sexual relations and sexual exploitation without their consent, whether for the exchange of money or for personal or third-party satisfaction," according to the Buenos Aires newspaper La Nación.

The same media reported that "the other defendants were identified as Andrés Fernando Charpenet, Raúl Ignacio Mermet and Francisco Rolando Angelotti, who is accused of being the head of the organization. According to the first reports, the group has been carrying out this criminal activity “for more than 20 years, both in the north of the country and in the province of Buenos Aires.”

There are several complaints against the network

The Buenos Aires newspaper, points out in its digital version that “the case was initiated as a result of the complaint of two people whose identity is reserved (currently of legal age) who said they had been victims when they were between 11 and 14 years old.

Likewise, it says that “the testimonies accumulated and there are already at least eleven stories of young people who suffered this situation in the city of Buenos Aires, the province of Buenos Aires and Misiones. The case file contains the suspicion that the abuses occurred in “private cars in Caballito, Parque Centenario, Plaza Miserere, Costanera Sur, a country house in Castelar, temporary shelters in the suburbs and private homes”

See the material from the program “Los Ángeles de la Mañana” LAM from América TV, a channel from Argentina!

Corazza would be a client of the organization

According to the Argentine media, investigators maintain that Angelotti would be the “leader of the organization who recruited minors, corrupted them and then inserted them into the world of prostitution, offering them to those who consume to obtain a profit from it.”
The initial suspicion is that Charpenet and Mermet were involved in the recruitment and exploitation of minors. Meanwhile, Corazza was mentioned by one of the victims for a case that occurred in 2001, after having won the reality show Gran Hermano.

Who is Marcelo Corazza

La Nación of Buenos Aires, says that “Marcelo Corazza joined the reality show Gran Hermano at the age of 29 as a substitute, after Gustavo Jordurcha resigned. At that time, he was a physical education teacher and rugby coach.”
They also point out that “his television coronation opened the doors to various jobs on the small screen, including hosting the children's program Megatrix and the charity Dar es Dar. Shortly after, he joined the Telefé staff as a producer.”
The case of Lucas Benvenuto

After learning of Marcelo Corazza's arrest, the Argentine media managed to contact one of the victims, Lucas Benvenuto, a young skater who told the media in that country that for much of his life, he was the victim of a pedophile ring.
Benvenuto said that when he was 12 years old he was kidnapped for 9 months by a pedophile ring, and that when he got out, many abusers shared his contact information and tried to recruit him. It was in this way that Marcelo Corazza contacted him, reported the TN channel in its digital version.
In an interview with the program A la tarde, on América TV, Benvenuto said that during his captivity he suffered forced transfers, and said that for 9 months, he was held in the warehouse of a bookstore. There he suffered abuse by the owner of the place, and several years after these events, he discovered that his captor was filming him and selling the videos to Spain.
In the interview with the Argentine channel, he said that due to the drug addiction of his mother, who died at the age of 36, no one ever looked for him.

Jey Mammón

This scandal affected another well-known figure on Argentine television, the musician and host Juan Martín Rago, known as Jey Mammon, who at the beginning of 2020 had been reported by Benvenuto himself to the Prosecutor's Office of his country for alleged sexual abuse that had lasted for years, which had begun in 2006.
Benvenuto, who at the time of the alleged abuse was 14 years old, recounted the events in a 13-page complaint where he would have detailed each and every one of the events that occurred, from the moment he met the musician and host, and how the relationship between the two was.
The Argentine media Infobae, highlighted some of the most lurid details of the complaint. "The complainant said that he met Mammon through a mutual friend, an adult, and went to his house in Balvanera, for a first meeting. When he woke up, he realized that they were both naked. Benvenuto said that after spending the night at the driver's house he realized that he had signs on his body similar to those he experienced "the first time he was sexually abused." The victim's story, published by Infobae, continues saying that "A few days later my cell phone was stolen and I lost contact with him. One day, I went back to my friend's house and that older man was there again. He told me that that night there was a party in a rented place organized by Juan from the radio station that did an internet program called 'Gay Hermano'. The older man called Jey and told him in front of me that he had a 'little gift' to send him, that I just had to get them to let me in, because I had just turned 15."

The relationship between Benvenuto and the host

Infobae continues Lucas' story, saying that they went to the party. "His face when he saw me is something I will not forget. At 15 years old I thought it was a healthy attraction, love, the love that I always found outside my house in the wrong hands. Today as an adult I understood that he thought I had lost him and that he had the toy back in his hands. Because that is what we are, people who suffer. abuses”.
Regarding the duration of that relationship with Jey, Lucas wrote: “From the age of 14 to 20 my fluid relationship with Juan lasted. Afterwards it was emails and messages. After my mother died, two days before I turned 18, the relationship with Juan was not the same. I was devastated and did not want to see anyone. We continued to see each other, but in longer periods of time. We talked every so often,” says the Argentine media.
See the material from the program “Los Ángeles de la Mañana” LAM from América TV, a channel from Argentina!

Infobae points out, regarding the judicial case formed from the complaint, that “Judge Walter Candela decided to close the case due to prescription on March 9, 2021 after a ruling by prosecutor Patricio Lugones. The time to investigate the case had already run, with acts committed almost a decade before the law of respect for the times of the victims was passed.”
A life of abuse

Lucas began his complaint by giving a context of his life: “I had a mother who was sick, she had addiction problems. She died at 37 years old because her body could not take it anymore. Since I can remember, more or less 4 years, I saw my mother taking drugs. Since then, physical and sexual abuse began by family friends and my stepfather, who has since passed away,” Infobae points out.

The media indicates that when he met Mammon, “he had already been a victim of the “boy lovers” gang, headed by Jorge Corsi and made up of music teacher Marcelo Rocca Clement, who admitted his guilt and was imprisoned for corrupting Lucas.”
In the television interview, Benvenuto said: “My case will not be able to be reopened, there is no turning back. Everyone told me to go to trial for the truth. But in that trial there is no conviction, I will not be able to obtain a conviction. The only thing that will do is re-victimize me and go through that horrific thing that I lived through again. I believe that social condemnation is worth more than that crappy trial."

Jey Mammon's statement

“Juan Martín Drago, artistically known as Jey Mammon, shared a statement on social media on Wednesday to give his version of the accusation of sexual abuse of a minor that weighs on him. In the video, the host of La Peña de Morfi - now suspended by Telefe - indicated that he met Lucas Benvenuto in 2009, but denied other points of his testimony,” says La Nación of Buenos Aires.
“I did not rape, I did not abuse, I did not drug anyone, ever. Never in my life, I did not do it, nor would I do it, nor am I going to do it. I deny it categorically,” Mammon expressed through his Instagram account.
“I am going through, perhaps, the worst moment of my life,” said the Argentine host, who in turn said: “I do not know what will happen with my life. I am being the same as always. Whoever wants to, can accompany me and whoever does not, stays on the way.”
The difference between Benvenuto's complaint and Mammon's defense lies in a technicality that has to do with the age at which they began the relationship. According to the complainant, he would have been 14 years old, which according to the law would constitute a crime. According to the host, he would have been 16 years old, which would legally exempt him from responsibility.

What is the current status of the case?

The Argentine Prosecutor's Office continues to investigate the open criminal case and the possibility of the involvement of more people in the network of corruption of minors, based on the complaints of the victims.
Benvenuto himself mentioned that there is another "well-known host" from Telefe who would also be part of the scheme of abuse of minors.
According to the Argentine media, this host would be Marley, according to an expression of the victim who said that one of her abusers was another host from the same media as Mammon, "who travels around the world."
To date Marley has not been included in the prosecutor's file and has not referred to the issue in any media. However, according to Argentine media, Telefé has already cancelled the host's programs.

Misiones: former deputy Germán Kiczka and his brother Sebastián were on the verge of trial for pedophilia

The prosecution received the case file to formulate the request to elevate the accused to trial for possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The oldest of the brothers also faces a charge for sexual abuse.

The prosecutor of the case against the brothers Germán and Sebastián Kiczka, Silvia Barronis, confirmed to Infobae that this Thursday she received from Judge Miguel Faria the file containing the investigation. The accused are detained in the Cerro Azul prison after child sexual abuse material was found on notebooks and other electronic devices. In total, there were 913 files.

Barronis specified that the referral of the investigation is for the purpose of formulating the request to elevate the case to trial. Faria had to endure various delaying maneuvers in recent months by the Kiczka defense. The lawyer Gonzalo de Paul, who represents both brothers, presented several nullity claims and appealed each of the magistrate's decisions.

The judicial official also stated that, starting this Thursday, she will have 10 business days to complete the procedure requested by the magistrate. But she announced that, due to the complexity of the case, she can request an extension of that period.

One of the pieces of evidence included in the file is the psychological examination that was carried out on them. The study indicated that the former provincial legislator presented "psychopathic, narcissistic personality traits" and "inclination towards pedophilia."

The case

Germán Kiczka was a provincial deputy for the Activar party, a force created by Pedro Puerta, son of the former Misiones governor and former provisional president of the Nation Ramón Puerta. In the 2021 and 2023 elections he was part of the Juntos por el Cambio alliance. But with the arrival of Javier Milei to the presidency, the provincial party realigned itself in the libertarian space. In this way, it contributed a national deputy and two provincial seats to the forces of heaven.

The shadows around Kiczka began to form at the beginning of the year. An international investigation into pedophilia marked the city of Apóstoles as one of the places where child sexual abuse material was collected and distributed. That is how Sebastián was first found, and Germán later.

When Judge Faria issued the arrest warrant for both, the brothers fled. Germán had already been stripped of his immunity by the Legislature. They found him at the end of August in a campsite in Corrientes. He said he was there to do a spiritual retreat. A week later, Sebastián was arrested. The Misiones Police found him in San Juan de la Sierra, a town located 40 km from Apóstoles.

After this episode, the Legislature removed Kiczka from its ranks. His place was taken months later by the radical Javier Mela.

Faria ordered preventive detention for both. Neither of the brothers spoke during the first inquiry. Later, they asked to testify, but they did nothing but deny the charges. The lawyer appealed the imprisonment. However, the measure was confirmed in higher instances of the Misiones Justice. They were housed in a police station and then transferred to the Penal Unit VIII of Cerro Azul, 50 km from Apóstoles.

As the investigation progressed, Sebastián was charged with sexual abuse. It was due to the complaint filed by a young woman. She had been abused when she was 13 years old.

The case left the 45 thousand inhabitants of Apóstoles perplexed, a city of hard-working gringos, descendants of Poles and Ukrainians. Most knew the brothers because they were the sons of Leonardo, a veteran radical militant and owner of the pizzeria “Leo Pizza Club” in the center of the town.

The mayor of the city, María Eugenia Safrán, told this newspaper that society was “outraged” by what was happening. “Ours is a peaceful community. We are working people. We are surprised, astonished by what has happened in recent days. But as some of the information becomes known, it makes us indignant,” she said.

The courts arrested him and charged him. But because of his age he was granted house arrest.

The Corrientes courts charged and ordered the arrest of Sixto “Yacaré” Fernández, 77 years old, who led the Liberal Party for almost two decades, part of the ruling coalition in the province led by Gustavo Valdés. The political leader is accused of being part of a network of sexual exploitation and pedophilia.

Judicial sources said that on the accused's phones "more than 400 photos and a hundred videos with sexual content involving minors and adults were found." Among the victims in the case are two teenagers from families in Ituzaingó, a city in the north of the province.

The sources in the case revealed that "among the victims there is a 13-year-old girl and a teenager, both members of vulnerable families in Ituzaingó." According to the investigation, the leader contacted the girls to ask them for images "of different intensity and high sexual content."

For now, the prosecution has charged Fernandez with two cases, but it is estimated that there could be more victims and that other people may have participated in the abuse.

Because of his age, Fernandez has the benefit of house arrest.

The investigation began in March of this year when a 28-year-old woman filed a complaint at the Women and Minors Police Station. She said that she met Fernandez through her mother, who worked for the Liberal Party.

When she was 14, he began to invite her for rides in his car.
The leader later gave her a cell phone to keep in touch. The victim said that on one occasion he took her to a motel on National Route 12. There he asked her to take off her clothes. He took photos of her and gave her money.

The complainant said that shortly afterward he began a relationship with a schoolmate. On one of the trips to the motel he learned that the teenager had already had sex. And then, according to the investigation, he demanded sexual access.

The girl then met a young man who would become her partner and the father of her children. Fernández reappeared and, according to her story, offered her a job in politics, which included sexual encounters. According to the complaint, the minor was forced to have sexual relations with another party official.
