Non-map issues

I would encourage people to use this forum to ask questions an seek advice on issues that are not even map related.
I've always believed that a strong community helps each other in practical ways and everyone has problems they can use help with, not just map issues but everyday issues that maps might struggle to seek help with. It might be debt management, finding work with a criminal record, starting a career, buying a first home, legal advice, relationship issues with friends or family, fixing a car, dealing with shyness or confidence issues, managing finances, health issues, pet issues, vacations, problems in the workplace or anything else. Sure you wouldn't post your CV or bank statements, but general advice can be very helpful, or even just being directed to a charity or public organisation who can help with a problem such as a legal representative or debt management company. But maybe in time, the forum could find people who could be approved to help more directly and discretely. I lawyer with expertise in map issues could answer questions and go on to represent people seeking help, or a financial advisor or accountant who was trusted by staff could offer more one to one support. But to begin, even general advice would help and help grow a more successful community. I want every map to succeed in life because successful maps can help other maps and accelerate change.
