"pedophile" is hot to read or hear when I'm gooning but in general, it's overused, misapplied, stigmatized, and a medical term.

Shota/Lolicon because it connects me to my nhentai gooner brethren

I am a BL that is part of the MAP community. If you want me to explain further, I'm a gay hebephile with an exclusive interest in boys at Tanner Stage 2-3. TBL (teen boylover) could also apply.

When joking with friends I'll sometimes use "pedo", but that's kind of like gay guys calling each other "f*ggot". I'm not actually into prepubescents so I don't really like it. And it's a word that is so stigmatized that personally I don't care about trying to reclaim it.

I might say I like shota(con), but I wouldn't say I am shota. To me that implies that I am the boy.

Another one not on your list that I wouldn't mind being called is "pederast".

I most prefer to say BL as it is more specific to gender. But I am good with MAP as well since BL and GL are both part of the MAP spectrum.

My preference fluctuates between MAP an Pedo
