Seems to be imagined persecution. Nepiophiles are often sidelined within fictional fandoms because it is impossible to get verbal consent from infants.
The first time I heard of Nepiophiles being excluded from the MAP world is when I was accused of it by a fiction-immersed Nepiophile who must have been hallucinating.

Being a nepio is the best.0-8 are the best ages.
I am more Nepio Exclusive my AoA is 0-3, but we can both understand that part

I don't think I have ever seen anyone say "nepis shouldn't be part of the community".
I definitely don't think so. But because of the issue of "verbal consent" some of us, including myself, (especially when interested in adolescents) have sometimes misunderstood and mischaracterized nepis.
I honestly don't know the how of keeping nepis fully integrated in our activism going forward. But I know it's necessary. Excluding nepis would be saying "there is a line under which attraction is not okay". That is a message totally inconsistent with what MAP activism.
I need to learn more, though.

I feel nepios need to open more.

Hmm, I’m a parent of a toddler and I think she is pretty competent and capable. She’s also unable to withstand sleepiness or hunger the way an adult might. She’s very emotionally reactive.
She’s definitely capable of love and affection. But it’s also very transitory without any real sense of what a commitment would mean. Or what love would mean beyond saying “I love you” and giving hugs.
She doesn’t seem to express any strong interest in her genitals like some kids. I wouldn’t say she’s “not interested in sexuality” but it’s definitely not the same kind of sexuality as a horny 13 year old masturbating every day.
I think all MAPs accept that there will be a certain level of asymmetry in our relationships. I guess that asymmetry of “what you can do for them” and “what they can do for you” is most extreme when it comes to nepis, though.
Asymmetry doesn’t necessarily mean unequal, though.

I'm glad you think that way. I admire it.
